Located in a community of residents, vacation homes, and rentals, Reno’s tight-knit team of 24 Goettl employees operates under an “all for one and one for all” philosophy. The branch’s strong culture of teamwork ensures that everyone helps each other out when needed, no matter the circumstances. The Goettl team in Reno holds certifications such as Heat Exchanger Experts (safety training) and NATE, the nation’s largest nonprofit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration technicians. The branch also employs several bilingual team members to serve the Spanish-speaking community.
The Reno team operates in 5,000 square feet of warehouse space, stocked with all the necessary parts to keep our 10 trucks fully loaded to complete most common repairs on the spot.

Every day during the 4 p.m. newscast, the Weather Authority team at KRNV Channel 4 predicts the next day’s high temperature at the Reno Tahoe Airport. If their prediction is accurate within 4 degrees, Goettl and News 4 donate to that month’s selected charitable organization.
Goettl Reno also supports the “Share Your Christmas” Drive-By Food Drive and the Reno Rodeo Denim Drive, an annual campaign that supplies essential clothing and comfort items for infants, children, and teens who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Additionally, Goettl is proud to sponsor the jerseys for the summer Tookey Hockey clinic, run by ex-pro AHL Hall of Famer and Master’s level USA hockey coach Tim Tookey.

Office hours are 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday, and the team is available Saturday/Sunday and after hours for emergency calls.

Rudy came out and looked at my existing water softener and found two problems with it no isolation valve and no air gap unit was installed six months ago by a contractor Clearwater purifications and they are coming back to install isolation valve and air gap under warranty. Rudy was awesome and providing very important information.

Matthew went above and beyond to inform us. I was really nervous about the leak in my son's room. I was afraid of the cost . When Matthew got here,he put all of our fears to rest. Edgar did a great job in the house. He came to do maintenance on the AC. He introduced himself and explained everything that he was going to inspect. He offered tips on home maintenance in order for me to be proactive in preventing issues from happening and also showed me how to do it. Very helpful to overall home maintenance.

My experience with the Goettl AC tech was by far a positive experience. He was professional, knowledgeable and capable. What he didn't know or wasn't sure about, he was able to make a call to a more senior tech. I'm reassured that field techs have backup from the office. He used that resource to diagnose a twitching component of on a 17 year old control board. Good Job Cameron.

Was very pleased with Goettl and Matthew Lopez. They came into our home and looked at our system and let us know what was wrong with it. They were not pushy or demanding, but opposite they were caring. We had several techs come to our house to fix our issues but they did not fix it. Matthew showed his frustration because they did not fix our issues. Matthew explained what needed to be done to make our unit run more efficient. We thank him for his expertise. Will use them again.

It was a very big job and we were stressed about the final cost given we did not have a Home Warranty—Billy was considerate and gave us a lot of options to repair but also keep within the budget we were working with. The service we received was done in a professional manner. First, Ryan explained the cost in a detailed manner prior to repairs being done. Secondly, he addressed the cost increase due to a broken part that was not visible until removal of the toilet. All the work was done a professional manner and we were updated on the progress of work being done. I was scared and totally unprepared for this fast escalating water leak. It was terrifying. Ryan and Kaelen came and patiently and thoroughly explained what was happening. What was the procedure to locate the issue, what they would need to do to assess and repair the issue and as they exposed the problem they showed me what was happening each time I came out. They educated me fully so I will be able to handle any future issues confidently. They confirmed the leak was resolved and showed me how to use the new turn off if needed in the future. They were fast and completely removed all signs of the repair. I am so grateful to have 2 young men of such professional expertise show up and will not hesitate to continue using Goettl.

Jorge was scheduled to look at our HVAC, he showed up earlier than expected. Jorge kept me informed of everything he was doing and what he was thinking about our issue with our unit. We have been looking for a company that is going to be there when we need them and is willing to use the warranty on our system. I needed a new hot water heater. Scheduling a service call via the website was easy. The technician Rudy was on time and did an excellent job of explaining the process for replacing the existing unit. William from the office provided clear options with upfront, all inclusive pricing. Doug and Aiden found my water psi was too high even after another company did a prv repair, and gave me an honest quote for a gas line.
Jeremy gave a clear, detailed explanation of the heating-unit problem he diagnosed and recommended steps to repair. It worked as hoped. Yeah Jeremy!! Courteous and conscientious throughout.
I visited the Goettl website and chatted with Zayne, who was extremely helpful. He was able to schedule a same-day service call to help with our issue. Peter M. arrived within the hour and quickly diagnosed an issue with our AC. He explained the problems in great detail and was extremely professional and polite. Because we still had an issue with a leak that was not coming from the AC, Peter was able to get another member of the Goettl team to come out and help diagnose that issue! Overall great experience with Goettl, so far! Hopefully the leak will be found soon!

Goettl sent Ryan to fix my clogged drain. He arrived. On time and cleared my drain quickly. Advised me of a break that was In the cities right-of-way. And sent a video confirming his findings. All for less than $100. Glad I chose Goettl!

Had Jesus come out and inspect my AC unit after it stopped working and he really hit the mark on creating a friendly professional environment and helped me through this stressful process and to choose the correct path that worked best for me. Darren guerra was great, gave us several options and explained in full detail what needed to be done. Very neat and clean in his work. And finished the job in a timely manner. Very happy overall with everything from start to finish. I did think the price was a little high though but considering it was getting late and didn't have much options.
