GOETTL AND KRNV NEWS LAUNCH “4 DEGREE GUARANTEE” TO GIVE BACK TO LOCAL COMMUNITY

Every month, the “4 Degree Guarantee” will support a local nonprofit organization in Reno and Sparks.

RENO, Nev., February 5, 2024 — Goettl Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing—a leading HVAC and plumbing company in Reno—is thrilled to unveil its brand new “4 Degree Guarantee” partnership with KRNV News 4, marking a significant collaboration that will not only bring a bit of fun and chance to weather predictions but also contribute to the local Reno and Sparks communities.

Starting in this month, the Weather Authority team at KRNV Channel 4 will engage in the “4 Degree Guarantee” challenge daily during the 4 p.m. news broadcast. The team will predict tomorrow’s high temperature at the Reno Tahoe Airport, and if their prediction is within 4 degrees, Goettl and News 4 will make a generous donation to a selected nonprofit organization for that month.

For the month of January, Goettl has chosen to support The Children’s Cabinet, a Nevada nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical services and resources to children and families in need. This initiative reflects Goettl’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community and supporting organizations that make a difference.

I had an awesome customer service experience with Ashton. He is someone you can tell that has passion about his career as I do. I have an aviation career so it's good to see someone who cares about the quality of work they put forward. I was trying to pursuade him into aviation in all honesty because we need kids like that in our field. He was knowledgeable, honest and helpful. My downstairs AC unit kept shutting off repeatedly and I had to keep suctioning the condensation line with my shop vac just to get it running again. Earlier this week, I called another highly rated company out. They came, did essentially the exact same thing I had already been doing myself, blew into the pipe, said because it was bubbling it wasn’t clogged, and left. Even after I explained that there had to be a bigger issue or a better solution than me having to shop vac the line every few days, they offered me a $1,600 estimate for a condensation pump. Hard pass. After continuing to deal with the same issue all week and having to suction the line multiple more times, I decided to call Goettl. They had Alex Nelson at my house within 2–3 hours, and the difference in service was immediately noticeable. Unlike the previous company, Alex actually seemed knowledgeable and thorough. He quickly identified that my line was severely clogged, drained both of my units, tested everything both inside and outside, and stayed to make sure the AC continued running properly before leaving. I’m extremely pleased with the fast response time, professionalism, and the fact that Alex actually took the time to diagnose and fix the real problem instead of offering an expensive, unnecessary solution.
