Lack of Hot Water
If your hot water isn’t lasting as long as it used to, it could be caused by a malfunctioning heating element, a failing thermocouple, a faulty gas control valve, or a broken dip tube. If you use your hot water a lot, you may notice these issues more. Our team can diagnose and fix your water heater and ensure you enjoy a steady stream of hot water.
Strange Noises Like Banging, Popping, or Rumbling
Water heaters make noise during operation, but loud popping, rumbling, or banging sounds are a cause for concern. This may be caused by sediment buildup, which cause steam buildup and popping bubbles. Underground leaks can also make noise that sounds like running water, even if you’re not using your plumbing, as well as malfunctioning components.
If you have a malfunctioning pressure relief valve or building pressure inside your tank, it can cause whining or humming sounds and a potentially hazardous situation. Pressure can cause your tank to explode or leak, so make sure you address this problem as soon as possible.
