Here are key inspection points you can expect at each type of Rejuuuvenation® call.

Furnace Rejuuuvenation^®

Thermostat Calibrations ensure the thermostat is working properly to maintain your desired temperature.
Airflow and ventilation inspections determine if your vents and ductwork are clear of any blockages.
Safety system testing involves inspecting CO detectors and furnace safety switches to ensure they function properly.
Burner and heat exchanger cleaning involve removing debris buildup, helping to prevent malfunctions. For more info, click here.

Plumbing Rejuuuvenation^® &
Inspection

All aspects of the water heater and valves are inspected for potential issues such as corrosion, leaks, and faulty components.
The tank is carefully drained and flushed to remove sediment buildup, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Leak inspections performed around the pressure relief valve, tank, and connections.
Anode rod inspected to prevent corrosion inside the tank. For more info, please click here.

AC Rejuuuvenation^®

Refrigerant levels are inspected to ensure optimal cooling and performance.
The condensate drainage assembly is inspected to ensure proper drainage and to prevent water damage.
The fan and blower motor are inspected to ensure proper air distribution.
Electrical connections are tightened, cleaned, and tested to ensure safety and prevent hazards. For more info, click here.

How and when to book appointments

Have a problem but not sure if it needs an emergency appointment? Here are some examples of urgent repairs vs. routine services that can wait for an appointment during regular business hours:

Regular Maintenance and Inspections: Schedule annual checkups to prevent costly repairs and ensure your plumbing runs smoothly.
Minor Heater Issues: If your water is coming out lukewarm, it’s important to address it soon with a regular appointment.
Leaky Faucets or Pipes: Minor leaks don’t require an emergency repair, but it’s important to get them fixed soon to save water and money.
Clogged Drains: Routine drain cleaning keeps your plumbing flowing well – don’t wait for a backup!
Toilet Repairs: If your toilet is running or has low pressure, it’s best to call before it escalates.
Sump Pump Inspection: Ensure your sump pump is ready for heavy rain and prevent basement plumbing with proactive checks.

Burst Pipes: Act quickly if you have a burst pipe to minimize water damage!
Toilet Overflows: Immediate repairs are crucial to prevent flooding and damage to your home.
Drain Backups: Don’t wait until your backup becomes a big problem. Call for a repair.
Major Leaks: If you have big leaks, time is of the essence to avoid extensive water damage.
Flooding: If your home is flooding from plumbing, it requires an emergency repair.
Gas Line Issues: Any smell of gas is dangerous. Contact us immediately for safety.

Regular maintenance and inspections: Schedule routine checkups to prevent repair problems early and ensure your air conditioner runs smoothly. How often your AC or furnace needs maintenance will depend on various usage factors like environmental dust and contaminants.

Slow temperature changes and minor cooling issues: If your air conditioner or furnace is running longer, sounds louder than normal, or isn’t heating or cooling as quickly, it’s typically not an emergency, but is still important to address soon with a routine appointment.
Dirty Air Filter: If your air filter appears dirty or hasn’t been cleaned or replaced in the past 3 months, it’s important to address it soon or during a routine checkup.
Odd noises: If your HVAC system is making an odd, but not loud noise, it’s time for a maintenance check at the earliest availability. Noises might include rattling, low buzz or light scrapping.
Damp or Stale Odor: If you smell damp and stale odors coming from your vents, it’s important to have your system and ductwork inspected soon with a routine appointment.
Rising energy bills: A spike in your utility costs could mean your system is losing efficiency, so you want to schedule an early appointment.
Weak airflow: If your HVAC isn’t warming or cooling certain rooms, your system may need cleaning or minor repairs.
Drain line inspection: Prevent potential water damage with proactive preseason checks. We’ll ensure your condensation drain line is clear of rust and debris, and ready for the upcoming season.
Unbalanced room temperatures: If you have rooms that are hotter or colder than others, it’s important to schedule a routine appointment to inspect your ductwork and attic for problems.
Turning on and off a.k.a. “short cycling”: If your air conditioner turns on and off quickly, several times before reaching the set temperature, it’s important to have it inspected soon to prevent further system damage.

System failure: If your system stops working unexpectedly or during extreme weather, call for an emergency appointment. Members get Emergency Service Priority Scheduling!
Not Working or Blank Thermostat: If you thermostat is blank* or your air conditioner or furnace will not turn on, it’s important to schedule an emergency repair quickly. *If you have a battery-powered thermostat, always check for fresh batteries first.
Burning smell: Act quickly if you smell any burning odor coming from your vents or near the outdoor equipment. Contact us immediately for safety. If you can safely turn off the unit, do so as soon as possible.
Refrigerant leaks: A chemical smell or obvious refrigerant leak is a health risk and requires an emergency repair.
Water near the unit/condensation water leak: Significant water leaks near the HVAC system could cause damage, so speedy repairs are crucial to prevent flooding and protect your system and home. We’d advise you to call for an emergency repair immediately. Smart Sadie members receive real-time app alerts from their sensors in the event of a water leak or risk to the system.
Electrical malfunction: If your system trips your circuit break or you see sparks, turn off the power to the unit and schedule an emergency appointment.
Blowing Warm Air: Act quickly if your air conditioner is running but blowing hot or warm air.
Loud Noises: If your air conditioner is making any loud rattling or grinding sounds, it may require an emergency repair.
High Room Temperature: If your air conditioner is running, but can’t maintain a set temperature for an extended amount of time, it may require an emergency repair.
