I would not recommend Goettl based on my experience.

I purchased their top-tier 4-star, two-stage system on June 13, 2026 after being advised that repairing my 11-year-old unit wasn't worthwhile. The system was installed the same day, but it failed within 24 hours.

Since installation, we've had six service calls. Different technicians have blamed low refrigerant, a frozen coil, zoning, a failed TXV valve, and a control board issue. Parts have been replaced, refrigerant has been added twice, yet the system still shuts down or fails to cool our home reliably. Despite repeatedly stating the unit was "working at 100%," it continued to malfunction.

The most frustrating part has been the lack of accountability. When I asked why a brand-new system was already low on refrigerant and requested a leak test, I was told one wasn't necessary. The technician then left without repairing the system after saying our conversation was "verbally abusive," even though no profanity or personal insults were used. He also left my attic access panel damaged.

We've missed two days of work, had to leave our home because of the heat, and spent nights sleeping in our toy hauler. Management has offered no meaningful resolution beyond continuing to troubleshoot with the manufacturer.

A brand-new HVAC system should not require this many service calls in its first two weeks. If you're looking for a reliable installation and responsive customer service, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Today we had Alberto from Goettl Air Conditioning at our home to evaluate and document damage that occurred to portions of our rooftop HVAC ductwork during a recent roofing project involving tile roofing, TPO flat roofing, and asphalt shingles around our rooftop A/C units.

I was extremely impressed with Alberto’s professionalism, thoroughness, and technical knowledge throughout the entire visit. Rather than simply walking through and making assumptions, Alberto carefully mapped the airflow from all three rooftop HVAC units throughout the home. He inspected and photographed every cold-air return, interior vent, attic duct run, rooftop duct section, and related system component.

What really stood out was his attention to detail. Alberto took nearly 200 photos documenting the complete heating and cooling system so that every concern could later be referenced visually and explained accurately. That level of documentation gave us tremendous confidence that nothing was being overlooked.

During his inspection, Alberto identified multiple issues including improperly mounted rooftop equipment, leaking ductwork, exposed 240v wiring inside broken conduit, improperly installed low-voltage wiring loosely routed across the roof, taped-shut access controls, and several additional installation and safety concerns that otherwise could have easily been missed.

It was very clear that Alberto takes pride in doing things correctly and thoroughly. He was professional, methodical, patient in answering questions, and extremely knowledgeable about both HVAC systems and rooftop installation challenges.

I would highly recommend Alberto to anyone needing diagnostic, estimation, or system evaluation work completed correctly the first time. Goettl is fortunate to have a technician with this level of dedication and professionalism representing their company.

My AC was not giving us heat & the Gottle tech said it's because refrigerant was low due to a leak somewhere in the AC so.the GOETTL technician added refrigerant good for at least 2 weeks to give us heat. In the meantime Gottl tech. applied dye on A/C to find out where the leak is coming from. If refrigerant is once more low after 2 weeks due to leak Gottl guy will be back, by then he will see result from the dye application the location of the leak & fix it for good.

I had my furnace and a/c checked today by Geottl. So glad I did! With this service Geottl also looks at the vents in your home. My vents were filthy. My furnace wasn’t functioning at top efficiency. The reason was the vents. The accumulated dust gets pulled through the system leaving dirt in my heating coil. Lupe showed me the photos of vents and heat coil, explained the issues and remedies. I scheduled a cleaning of vents. Lupe also helped with financing. I recommend Geottl. Great service and friendly service people. I will definitely stay with Geottl.

I have used this company for many years and techs have always been wonderful to work with. They serviced my old unit until it was time for a replacement and I spent the 18K to have the new unit installed. They happily took my money and had it installed the next day.

This summer i was having problem as it would stop blowing air and called as i was still under warranty and under 2 years. I went ahead with the coil cleaning and was told everything i working fine. Just a month or so later the blower motor failed.

Initially i was told it would take them 3 days to come out to look at the problem and had to explain to the person that I'm under warranty and you should not have to wait days in 105 plus heat.

They came out on a Sunday and diagnosed the failed motor (which they don't keep in stock on units they sell to their customers). The tech (who was great) put me on the for Monday. At 9am I called inquiring at what time i should be home for the repair and was told that the part would not be in until Tuesday. No call and no communication at all with your customer who suffered through a day of a 90 degree house. I also spoke with the parts person who assured me i was under the two years and there was no charge for the repair, since initially they said it was a $600 labor charge. He also put me on the schedule for 1pm on Tuesday.

On Tuesday I called before leaving work to make sure they were still on schedule for the time and was told yes your window is 12-2pm. At 3pm, I called and actually found a helpful person who personally called to see what was going on. The tech finally arrived at 4pm. I understand things fall behind when doing repairs but it was almost more frustrating to be proactive with this company.

After completing the repair the tech still had the $600 labor charge on the invoice. He proceeded to call numerous supervisors to help with the situation. We were even able to pull up my original sale which clearly showed we were under the 2 years and completely under warranty.

Before leaving the tech talked about the best filters for the system (as i was now told about "air flow" issues with unit, which were never brought up with the old unit, the installation of the new unit or any of the services in the past two years). They did a great job of documenting these issues in the invoice as if to almost say... we want to void your warranty is the only reading of this very detail multiple documents attached email.

I can only be left with the feeling that this company will jump for a dollar, but do very little after that dollar has been spent. It's a shame because all of the techs have been wonderful to work with.

This past weekend, the R-22 unit at my house went out. After consulting with several technicians, it was determined to be unrepairable and needed to be replaced. After reaching out to multiple companies, we ultimately had Goettl come to the house.

Field technician Andrew arrived, and I was thoroughly impressed with his service. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. When it came time to speak with the sales manager about the new system, Andrew advocated for system upgrades and extended warranties — all while keeping the price within the same range as the original quote.

But after the repair, he recommend to change full AC unit without spending money on coil replacement. The fact is, if he could have advised that before, i should not spend this amount in the first place and also the work they done is 3x more than normal changes. I will never hire these guys in my life time.

Mat and Adam are very knowledgeable on their plumping experiences and they are licensed as well, they were both able to help my elderly mom (Hermelinda) fixing her biggest issue with her restroom and it was not just a leak, there was a bigger problem they discover.
A employee didn’t even notice the issue, with all the talk he offer my mom to redo our restroom, we trusted him because he was representing their company, with all the work he left us with a serious leak in our restroom building our water bill up. This employee work was so cheap and undone and he told us that he’s licensed but he wasn’t even license to do restroom. Later he kept giving us excuses about finishing the work she wasted $6,000 of her money.

Update 2025: they gave us a discount to repair the serious leak, Because the employee before didn’t notice it, and Adam and May notice right away, plus they are going refer us to a licensed contractor with in their company, these men we very very helpful and professional as well. Thank you guys for putting a smile on my mom’s face with her serious plumbing issue and helping us pick a contractor to professionally rework the restroom.

Very helpful! But I don't understand why the service man suggested to pay $400.00 for a part that would increase the units life span? The unit is only two years young and has a 10 year warranty. So why would I need to invest more into it? I also have it serviced in the fall and spring. It is also monitored for any leaks or other issues. I'm confused in what did I purchase in 2022.

Our hot water tank decided to give up on us unexpectedly on a weekend of all things! We had two companies come out and Goettl surpassed our expectations. It was only 6 months old and it was the first service that was performed on my unit. They charged us $500. $18,000 and a 20 year warranty. Seriously? Thermostat went totally out soo with AZ Temps in the 100° range, I was truly uncomfortable. My daughter called Goetti for emergency service to restore a/c. I was scheduled for services within 24hrs.
Technician Sergio reported for duty within that 24hrs range. He greeted me with a pleasant smile, handshake and humor, to break the ice (heat...lol)
He immediately started to inspect the system and the reported problem area. He identified where the problem was and its cause. He made the necessary repairs and presented me with an indepth detailed bill with loads of pics of my a/c units located in attic. This above and beyond steps were certainly appreciated.
Technician Sergio represents Goetti with absolute professionalism and honesty.
He is truly an asset to the Goetti establishment.
Finally my bill was surprisingly reasonable.

Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing company performed professionally and efficiently on two recent occasions. Our HVAC system failed. Tyler worked with us and negotiated a fair price with a new unit. Next Mario and JJ came out on a Saturday and worked 10 hours on the installation without stopping. There was a problem with the blower and so a supervisor Rino was dispatched on Sunday and helped to diagnose the problem. He then without hesitation had Mario obtain a new blower and board. Once installed the unit worked perfectly.

And now today, JoJoe and his assistant Mario came to our home to clean the HVAC ducts. Once again they were extremely professional, knew exactly what they were doing and completed the job efficiently and professionally.

I highly recommend Goettl for HVAC and related services.

Our AC was not working and it is in the 90's here. Zario, at customer service, somehow got us a same day appointment. We are so thankful for his extra care and professionalism. Then Ronald actually got here earlier than expected, found the issue and repaired it before it got too hot in the house.

Jacob came out to do a home plumbing inspection. Found minor problems with all three toilets and corrected them. Then drained the water heater and discovered that the anode rod was completely corroded, so removed and replaced it. Checked all the pipes in the house for leaks and sold me a great enzyme product to keep the drains clean. He was very professional and explained everything and answered all my questions. Great job!

Our 7 year old outdoor air conditioning unit began making horrible screeching sounds so we went online to schedule a service call with Goettl. After 20 minutes of the website cycling and not loading we finally just called.
We scheduled an appointment and the technician Chris Ross showed up promptly and was an absolute pleasure to deal with (according to my wife). He was thorough, informative and presented her with various options for repair or replacement. We chose replacement which in the end was cheaper and the "base model" far exceeded our expectations.
We are extremely pleased with Goettl and their technician Chris.

Aaron was very professional and personable. Very knowledgeable and provided direction for our needs.
After the installation of our new air conditioner that day, the installer discovered a problem. A request for a call back was sent to our salesman the day of the installation. We had questions about the unit, would like a receipt and/or paperwork for the unit and warranty information. A manager contacted us the following week and corrected the issue. I can give a 5 star because the techs are always professional knowledgeable and courteous and now I know that Goettl steps up and cares for their clients.
After our installation a leak was detected by a sensor in the attic. Juan came out and sealed the spot that leaked without any problems. Once again very friendly professional and skilled. Very satisfied once again.

I continue to have amazing service with Goettl. Carlos and Danny were out today and not only was the customer service phenomenal, but they did a thorough job replacing the needed part while also outlining/prioritizing other maintenance needs to budget for. Just as I stated in my previous statement below, I’ll never use another company for AC repairs.

John was very helpful with some extra issues we were having. We were unable to figure out the issue because the fan did not run for no reason like it was doing before. But I will say Goettl price to replace low voltage wire is very outrageous. 1000 $ to replace I wire that basically drop straight down for a/c to thermostat. I will be looking for a new a/c company after this. They overcharge everything. And from what I am told they don’t value thier employee with their 5 star review bonus.

I am very satisfied with the rapid response of Goettl for the malfunction of my Goettl HVAC. Their technician completed a timely and correct diagnosis that the condenser coil had developed a leak and required replacing. However it would take a week to acquire the coil. In the mean time they agreed to return and refill the refrigerant as needed pending the arrival of the coil.

Very helpful! Aaron took the time to listen to my concerns about a humidity issue in my home. He took pictures of the AC issues I was having and explained the problem in an easy to understand way.

I used Goettl again and met with Adam. Adam was very experienced, listened to the issues we were having, and quickly diagnosed the problem (and he was spot on as we later determined). Another plumbing company had told us it was a "design issue." However, Adam and his crew helped us clear out the sewer line grease/buildup blockage and get the core problem resolved. Very impressed by Adam's expertise and his crew of Mario and Andrew. Mario was EXCEPTIONAL and went above and beyond to explain what he was doing, why, and how we could prevent a similar issue in the future. Will definitely ask for them in the future. On time, reliable, professional, communicative, and pricing was fair!

Goettl installation team Adrian and Cesar arrived on schedule. No time was wasted as they got to work right away to install a split HVAC system with additional ductwork. The installation process was efficient as we could tell they took care for our home and pride in their work. Goettl has a remarkable history of professional service for us. Today our Goettl Service Professional was Jesse Martinez, for heat pump annual maintenance. Jesse was thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and professional. We had the sense we were in good hands in every way.
One thing Goettl does is take photos of the damaged part, with any digital readings, then the fix. Together with their professionalism and obvious knowledge, it makes for a high degree of confidence in them. Also, there’s a conference call with a supervisory person, who can add any details missing from the service technician’s data base, ensuring any question can be answered thoroughly, including details about what was done in the past.
We've been very satisfied with our Goettl maintenance and repair experience for more than a decade. The quality of the experience they’ve given us is really remarkable!

Great company that continues to up the safety and protection of your home. The service protection & checkup plan for $19.95 has been upgraded to include sensors to let you know when there is a problem. The sensors let you know where there is a problem -on vents and water heaters and a faucet. We have gotten great service. They also come out to Superior without charging a trip charge. That had us sold right away. Strongly suggest the service plan with old or new a/c or water heaters. We lucked into Gosettl. The only department we have problems with is Billing they are almost impossible to get a reliable auto pay plan set-up with.

This review is really only a reflection of Brad Bell, the Goettl technician that came to our house. Brad was very nice when he got to my house and seemed very knowledgeable, however, I received the text message saying the tech was on the way and he didn’t show up for over an hour and a half. Not only that, it took 3 weekends and several phone calls to management to even make this appointment happen. I then asked Brad to have the general manager or operations manager call me back with follow up after this appointment and I still haven’t heard from any of them. Although Brad was nice, I unfortunately cannot recommend Goettl

Had a leak in our whole house RO system installed by GOETTL August 31, 2018. Last weekend it had a leak. Tack was out today. Repair is pending as they need to get part. Water damage to our garage and spare bedroom. Restoration professionals were here within 4 to to start the repair. This is incredible. GOETTL is truly a remarkable company. Mr. Goodrich is a man of his word.

On 11/04/2023 we scheduled a duct cleaning with GOETTL. AC and plumbing. Our tech Jesus Munoz contacted me 1.5 hour before our scheduled time and indicated he could be there a bit earlier than scheduled if that worked for us. He arrived 45 minutes before our scheduled time, explained the procedure and answered our questions. He immediately began his work and worked diligently to complete his task. He kept me posted on progress and job status. Throughout the time in our residence he was professional and represented GOETTL very well. Charles also was part of the great experience as well. He worked diligently throughout his time in our residence as well.
We are very satisfied with the continued service we receive from GOETTL. These two fine representatives took complete care of our needs.

This was our first time using Goettl and it certainly won't be our last. Our technician, Levi, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed up on time and helped me to understand what was causing my drain shower drain clog. Levi was in and out quickly and efficiently. The best part is the unbeatable $80 drain unclog pricing. In fact, we contacted another plumbing company a couple weeks prior for a different shower drain (same issue) and that company charged us $287! I'm glad I went with Goettl and happy they sent Levi to fix the issue. Great service and customer care.

Well your repairman said that he couldn't fix my sprinkler leak after he told my brother Kevin that he could. So now I'm waiting for your ac repairman to get here to fix ac that hasn't been working since last night. Well the repairman finally got here at the time they said he would. Let me tell you this guy was polite, answered all of my concerns. He inspected my ac unit and advised me that it might be time to replace the unit. There was no pressure in trying to get me to purchase a new unit though. He just told me the truth and allowed me to make the decision. The people here are the real deal. So if you want a company that truly cares about your comfort then look no further. I couldn't have asked for a better repairman and I only want him to service my unit, although I'm sure that any other repairman from this company would be just as considerate as he was. Way to go Goettl you have sold me. I truly believe that your the ac company that I want to do business with. Thank you for a worry free experience and thank you for making the company into what it is today. Your hard work has paid off.

Our AC went out at 9 o’clock at night. They were out at 8:30 the next morning working on it to get it fixed. Start capacitor came loose from mount, arched on wire coming off contactor and blew hole in start capacitor, also took out contactor and run capacitor. We were up and running less than two hours. The tech was friendly, professional and did a great job.

Living in Phoenix, our AC is a paramount necessity. Our 15 yr old unit crapped out in August, so getting it repaired or replaced was urgent. Goettl was awesome. They've been responsive, helpful, and a true pleasure to work with. Josh, the tech, was on time, friendly, and professional. Daniel and Leo, the installers, were amazing. Working in a hot (100+ degree) house was miserable for me, but these guys stayed friendly and really went above and beyond - Leo even had to fashion a custom stand for the unit that looks perfect!! I will not hesitate to use Goettl again (though I'm hoping I won't need to for a long time), and have no doubts about recommending them. They have honestly earned this five star review.

Our 1987 AC unit went out late night of friday (07/21/23). My bf could not find any repair people available but Goettl company to check the unit. So least to say we need a new AC unit and the installation guys, Abraham and Uriel, were the ones that got dispatched at our place. They're right on the dot at 8am parking the truck and right at our front door. Checked the locations they needed to work at, went back down and started getting all the equipments needed to fulfill the job. it's monday today and about 118 degrees. The condo has been out of any cool and around 97 degrees inside when they got in the morning. Abraham and Uriel worked all day in the heat to make sure we have a new cool AC by the end of the day. They even vacuumed in and out of our condo. Thank you for dispatching these two. We have a new AC now. Yay!

Great guys to work with! Our AC went out at 2am and gave them a call and had someone at the house in the morning. Decided to replace the unit and they gave a great price on a new unit and install and it was done the next day. Goettl did the installation on the wholehouse Springwell filtration system we supplied. The 2 techs that arrived were so friendly and approachable. They spent the whole day mounting and plumbing everything so professionally. I mean they really took their time to get all the lengths right and pipes parallel. They even installed shutoff valves as well as hard and soft water valves for hose connections. They were getting ready to paint up the pipes when we requested that they leave them bare because we like the look. Of course, they left a flashlight and stuffed dog for our little girl, which is just the sweetest little thing that they do (and clever marketing because now our daughter wants them to come back 😅). Great experience all around

Mike S and Abel came by today and were extremely helpful and friendly. If you have any issue, these are the guys for the job. Both Mike and Abel went far beyond the call of duty to make sure I, as the customer, was completely happy and comfortable with all the work we had talked about. They both spoke very clearly and in great detail of any issues they saw with both the plumbing and the AC unit. They both were very accommodating to my needs and wants with the services I requested. Again I would highly recommend both of these technicians to any job. Mike is a true master of HVAC. I have never met someone with as much knowledge as he had on the subject. Q! the man and the family members before him of HVAC technicians does really show the love that this young man has for his career,
plus I enjoyed his energy and his professionalism and was very comfortable with our Guy Q! He was Very Knowledgeable and Answered all my questions with The time It took From Start to finished with face 2 face Conversation to the Phone Calls with The Big Wigs at the office with the Cost and Installation it was all a Breeze and No Stress they're the Best At What They Do. While our Guy Q, Came to the house this morning @ 9:00 and by 1:00 he had done a fine job and was on his way. So now the next members to show up ready to install AC unit those technicians "CHAD" and "CHRISTIAN" Absolutely the best and are Complete ROCK 🌟 STARS! So pleasant and VERY HARD WORKERS going that extra mile to complete their dutys in a timely manner just stellar employee's I'll highly recommended those two Chad & Christian they cleaned up afterwards and then some and the work that these 2 performed was completed on Saturday very impressive and So now Day 2 Duct work to be completed by 2 different gentlemen than on Saturday, Duct work not completed so work needs to be continued into 3rd day Monday to finish up things that should be completed by Monday with no issues. The duct work the job was just okay not great and there was no clean up performed afterwards by the two technicians. Myself cleaned up the debris left behind all over the floors and on the couches and furniture. Still with Goettl being in good hands was the best opion moving forward So I decided on it and pulled the trigger on the

Just had a complete new a/c unit installed by Marcus, Alton, and Ryan. These guys did amazing, very respectful, and kept us informed of everything going on. We also had another crew come in and do a complete vent cleaning/sanitizing at the same time, and with all the Goettl team in here, it went seemless and professional. We has an a new air conditioner scheduled in 2022 and the techs that came out were very professional and patient. We had called for an appointment today because our gas bill had been much higher than past years and there seemed to be an issue with the heat. Joe was our tech and had the issue diagnosed with multiple fixes to address it in less than two hours. On top of that, he was so patient and kind to our dog, and was fun to talk to! He is now our preferred tech and we are so appreciative of him and of Goettl for getting someone out to us so quickly. He even gave our dog a toy when our dog training appointment accidentally came at the same time as him being here!

We had Jon Parks for our service man for a leaky water softener unit and he provided excellent advice on our water conditioner unit that needed replacement. We found him very knowledgeable and professional in his recommendation.

My In-laws have been loyal Goettl customers for years, I’m writing this review on their behalf. Goettl consistently offers quality services at a fair price, the service men are always professional and respectful of your home. My in-laws had to be out of the house today so I was at their home while Goettl cleaned the ducts. Daniel and Tano were a great team. They communicated well, did a thorough job and didn’t leave a mess which is always appreciated after a dusty clean out. Would 10/10 recommend.

I was having issues with my ac unit and I was shopping around, but received no reply. Idecided to call Goettl just because. When Goettl came out, we felt we were in good hands right away. When Josh came out he was knowledgeable, professional and straightforward. He was also very personable and showed great pride in his company.
