FAQ’s: Is Smart Sadie® Right For Me, If So, Which Plan?

Smart Sadie® is Goettl’s home maintenance membership for your heating, cooling and plumbing. Each year you get cooling, heating and plumbing tune-ups, water heater maintenance, a water quality check and a flood prevention inspection. You also get priority scheduling, 10% off repairs and a 2-year parts and labor warranty on repair work.

No. A home warranty is a contract that helps pay for certain repairs after something breaks. Smart Sadie® is maintenance: we look after your systems every year so they break down less, and when you do need a repair, you pay less and the work is covered for 2 years.

If you want your cooling, heating and plumbing checked every year, the membership usually costs less. Our AC, Heating and Plumbing Rejuuuvenation® tune-ups are $129 each, or $387 for all three, while Smart Sadie® Connect is $155 a year and includes all three tune-ups. You also get 10% off repairs and priority scheduling.

Both plans include every member benefit and the Goettl app. Protect adds smart sensors that watch your heating and cooling system around the clock and alert you to water leaks. Connect gives you the full membership without the sensors.

Smart Sadie® Connect is $12.95 a month or $155 a year. Smart Sadie® Protect is $19.95 a month or $239 a year. Those prices cover one heating and cooling system, and each extra system is $10 a month or $120 a year.

FAQ’s: Smart Sadie®: What Benefits Does The Program Give Me?

Your technician looks over your system, checks that it’s running safely and the way it should, and walks you through what they found. Nothing gets repaired without your OK, and if something needs work, you get the price upfront with your 10% member discount.

Yes. Your yearly plumbing tune-up includes water heater maintenance, a water quality check, a flood prevention inspection and a camera inspection of your main sewer line. Tankless water heater flushes and anode rods for tank water heaters aren’t included.

Your plan includes one drain clearing a year, done during your flood prevention inspection. Your home needs a cleanout we can reach at ground level, which is a capped pipe outside or in the garage that opens to your main drain.

Yes. Member calls are scheduled ahead of non-member calls. On the hottest and coldest days, that means the next open spot, not always the same hour, so call as soon as you notice a problem.

Loyalty credits build the longer you stay: Protect members get $100 at sign-up, $10 a month and $200 each anniversary, and Connect members get $50, $10 a month and $100. Repair credits count what you spend on qualifying repairs toward a new system, up to $2,500 for heating and cooling equipment, $1,250 for ductwork, and $2,500 for sewer, drain or pipe replacement, used within one year of the repair. Both kinds of credit go toward new equipment only, have no cash value, and end if you cancel.

Download the free Goettl app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and sign in there. Every member can use the app to schedule and track tune-ups, and Protect members also see sensor readings like system health, filter life and leak alerts. If you can’t get logged in, call us at 844-446-3885 and we’ll get you connected.

Yes. Call us at 844-446-3885 and we’ll take care of it. If you cancel in your first 12 months, there’s a cancellation fee of $120 for Protect or $60 for Connect, and after 12 months there’s no fee to cancel. Any loyalty and repair credits you haven’t used end when you cancel.

If Smart Sadie® came with your new heating and cooling system, your first year is included. Before that year ends, we’ll reach out with your renewal options so there are no surprises.
