Goettl To The Rescue! After Hours!

Air conditioning repair

Another company messed up our AC and refused to come fix it. We made a call very late in the day to Goettl and they sent a technician out after hours to restore our air-conditioning unit. Our technician, Craig, went above and beyond to identify the issue, clearly explain the situation to us using pictures, and resolve the issue. I'm extremely impressed by this company's professionalism and dedication to their customers.

His instinct was correct, I had was an old capacitor which needed replacement. My air conditioner quit working late Friday afternoon on a 100 degree day.
I called Goettl to see if they could get it running. They had a tech there at 8:30 am the next day. Technician Nick diagnosed the problem and immediately provided solutions. Unfortunately the 20 year old unit had a major problem. Nick called the office support and they gave me the cost of each option. Replacing the worn out part required input from the Trane Company which was closed for the weekend. Nick offered temporary help from portable units. He supported me through the rest of Saturday and Sunday, keeping me informed. It turned out Trane no longer made the parts I needed but had replacement parts available. The cost was 4019 dollars. Spending that much on a 20 year old unit didn’t make sense so we replaced the unit. Goettl had the new unit installed by Tuesday. Their installer Terrance Harr was excellent. Everything is “cool” for now.

We had a great experience with Goettl! We called them at 7 pm one night with concerns of mold and they were out the next day assessing our system. Once it was decided that day to replace our system, we had a new one installed the very next day Frank, Bobby and Trevor were all thorough, kind and professional! Our Austin location opened in February of 2021 and quickly built a strong reputation with residents. Formerly Dayton Services, we have been part of the community since 1994. With strong local experience and community ties, customers have peace of mind that their HVAC and Plumbing needs will not only be met but their homes and furry family members will be treated with care.

Our team’s level of engagement is very strong: We are family-oriented and respectful, with deep roots in the Austin community and a deep-burning desire to be part of something great. Our team has enjoyed many outstanding achievements, such as the distinguished 2023 Platinum Dealer status via Standard Supply and the state plumbing licenses of our very own Andrew Stone. We’re located on the southeast side of Austin and have 32 fully stocked vans to ensure we can solve your problems in a single visit.
