I was scared and totally unprepared for this fast escalating water leak. It was terrifying. Ryan and Kaelen came and patiently and thoroughly explained what was happening. What was the procedure to locate the issue, what they would need to do to assess and repair the issue and as they exposed the problem they showed me what was happening each time I came out. They educated me fully so I will be able to handle any future issues confidently. They confirmed the leak was resolved and showed me how to use the new turn off if needed in the future. They were fast and completely removed all signs of the repair. I am so grateful to have 2 young men of such professional expertise show up and will not hesitate to continue using Goettl.

Jorge was scheduled to look at our HVAC, he showed up earlier than expected. Jorge kept me informed of everything he was doing and what he was thinking about our issue with our unit. I had a leak previously repaired by a different company that was still leaking, so I decided to call Goettl, to get a pro to repair it. I was seriously impressed, the leak was repaired and it looks and works perfectly. Rudy came by on a Friday and dug up the pipes, identified where it was leaking and came back Saturday morning to repair it. The repair was truly a work of art. I highly recommend Goettl for your plumbing needs, make sure to as for Rudy.

I visited the Goettl website and chatted with Zayne, who was extremely helpful. He was able to schedule a same-day service call to help with our issue. Peter M. arrived within the hour and quickly diagnosed an issue with our AC. He explained the problems in great detail and was extremely professional and polite. Because we still had an issue with a leak that was not coming from the AC, Peter was able to get another member of the Goettl team to come out and help diagnose that issue! Overall great experience with Goettl, so far! Hopefully the leak will be found soon!

Great review for Goettl Plumbing.We had an blockage in our sewer line.Tyler Leija was dispatched the same day, and found the blockage using a camera tool.He cleared the blockage temporarily.The actual fix would require digging up and replacing the bad area of pipe.Paulo "Adrian" Dado and his crew came out the next day with backhoe, dug up the area, and replaced the section of pipe.The next day, after inspection, Adrian and his crew filled in the hole and then cleaned up the area.This is a brief description. There was A LOT of work involved.Very professional work.

I ultimately opted to have the problem fixed to avoid damage to other appliances. He completed the work in a timely manner.
Peter helped a lot with explaining the root cause of our AC unit not functioning as well as it should be, and explaining why he recommended the fix/parts that he did. Took plenty of time to troubleshoot what was actually going on as opposed to just treating the symptoms, and explained in an easy-to-understand way what he found and how to fix it. He also gave good advice about simple DIY maintenance we can do moving forward to keep the system healthy! Goettl as a whole was very easy to work with and I was able to book an appointment as early as the day following my phone call. Great service from start to finish!

Our AC went down for the upstairs unit. We have a maintenance plan through another company but they do not provide 24/7 service. I called Goettl and I am so happy I did. Jesus Gloria was out within a few hours. I was called to confirm the appointment window. Then texted with the photo attached so I would know who my technician was and the link to track their arrival. Jesus was so professional and explained everything to make sure I understood. He took photos and videos to make sure I could see what he was talking about. Then showed me the photos after the repairs. I am so impressed with this experience. The company very clearly communicates how important customer satisfaction is to them. A+++ service and Jesus did an amazing job. I will definitely consider their maintenance plan in the future which also includes routine plumbing inspections and flushing for the same price other companies charge for HVAC services alone.

Came home from work to an 85 degree house and a broken AC. Called at 0800 and they sent Matt Lopez out by 0915. He quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me the news that no one wants to hear, it needed replaced. He was extremely professional and kind with this news and assured me that we could figure this out. He called Tony Vizzone who helped get together estimates and drop the price to something that I was able to afford. My technician Jorge (George) Gutierrez was out today performing the a/c system check. He did a fabulous job and identified significant issues and concerns for the longevity of my current 12 year old system. He was very knowledgeable and helpful on what my options are and in the end I’ll be getting a new system instead of worrying about the current system failing in our extremely hot temperatures. He was very respectful of my home and my dog was ecstatic to meet him.
Frank identified the need for new faucets in the master bath and discussed my preferences. The type of faucet being replaced is no longer available (mini wide spread) so he had to do some research to come up with a solution. Had to be ordered, not surprisingly, and we appreciate his conscientious performance.

Signed up for the Sadie membership as a a preventative measure to avoid bigger problems down the line. Had my appointment to check my system today and to my surprise the tech discovered a huge gash in my ductwork! Thankfully so because the ductwork up there is a very tight space which I could never squeeze myself into and would’ve gone unnoticed for who knows how long. Huge thank you to Technician Roy Adame for making the trip out on a Saturday afternoon, going the extra mile to fully inspect the system in a tight space, and fully explaining the possible causes of the damage and the impact it would on the system performance. 🙏🏼🤙🏼🫡👏🏼🙂

We hired Goettl to replace our hot water heater. Initially there were some issues with our master bath shower not working after the install. We called the company who came out to look and let us know a cartridge would need to be replaced. Unfortunately that’s not an area with which we have any bit of expertise and we felt very let down. That said, Goettl stepped up in a major MAJOR way. They didn’t simply repair the cartridge; they rebuilt and replaced the entire valve, even creating a passageway from the closet to make easy access into the wall, just in case problems ever arise.I truly am overwhelmed with the level of service and would recommend them time and again. In fact, we are dealing with some toilet issues and fully plan to call them up when it’s time to replace them. This is a company that stands behind their word,

Goettl Plumbing…man these guys were great. I know others may have different experiences from time to time but this was mine.From the initial phone call to the plumbing technician, Jonathan Saucedo, coming out to the house, it was the same level of high class customer service. Everyone reiterated what we discussed and the highlighted the critical points of my concerns.Jonathan came to the house, greeted himself very professionally and immediately addressed my concerns. He was very informative and knowledgeable as his explanations were very thorough and concise. He took pictures to document what we discussed (these pictures were also later sent to me for my own records). Jonathan performed some additional inspections (not just visually but broke out some equipment to measure and gauge some stuff). Jonathan gave me some additional recommendations based on his professional observations and findings and emphasized some critical issues that may need immediate attention. Again, I do not believe he was trying to ‘con’ me because he explained to me every step in detail, why he was doing it and most importantly, never seemed bothered that I was looking over his shoulder with whatever he was examining.This made making a decision on those critical issues requiring immediate attention based on his professional recommendations a little easier. Again, Jonathan never once tried to push me or lead me or sell me on anything.As a side note, these guys do show up with the flashlight and a stuffed animal mascot - and each has a story behind it too. I thought it was a gimmick but it’s like the TV commercials.Overall, the level and quality of service exceeded the initial cost of the service call. It’s rare to have an experience like this nowadays but it when it does happen, it is an enjoyable experience.

Roger came out on Thanksgiving Day to fix our unit. Turns out, our home builder completely shorted us on the amount of blown-in attic insulation (which you think a home inspector would have caught) and also our unit is too small for our house which is 4 years old. Had Doug Rivera and Aidan from Goettl come out to flush out my water heater. But when they did a whole house inspection they found a few more concerning things. One was my water softener hasn’t worked in years and pushing hard water. Then they noticed how my toilets in bad shap and a few things rusted. So I had them install a 3 star water softener then 3 must needed toilets. This water softener is badass! And water is super soft. Also, they added a nice drinking super filtered water spout. Must needed for all the cooking and drinking from the kiddos. Their service and professionalism is unmatched. Thank you for your hard work Doug.

This company is the very Best. After a late afternoon SOS call because of some serious water issues. They found a tech to come out today and get this figured out.The Service Guy- Tyler came out at 845PM to help fix my Pressure Release Valve that blew up my water softener today. It has been a horrible day, and this company made every effort to help me get this taken care of so it doesn't happen again.Not something anyone wants to experience.The service guy, Tyler, was professional and very informational. He explained all of the issues to me and is trying to fix this. This company is the best at professionalism and customer service. I would give them a 10 star. From start to finish, our experience with this company was top notch. Their response time was immediate, and when we were scheduled their employees kept us updated with time arrival estimates. During the service, Andrew was extremely knowledgeable, diligent, and went the extra mile to ensure we got our situation figured out and resolved. Andrew spent the time to make sure to check all the pipes, explain the issue, and conduct a water test in front of us so we could fully understand the area and process. We had our new AC unit, both inside and outside, installed after the old one chose to suddenly retire. I can’t blame it- it had faithfully served for 20yrs, so it was due its pension. A little warning would have been nice, but here we are. On the 1st day of an historic heat wave, it went out. That was Monday afternoon. We had a tech out on Wednesday, late morning, and an installation team arrived late Friday morning. Those 2 guys were absolutely amazing, worked professionally, efficiently, and they knew their stuff! By Friday evening, we were finally starting to get some relief! On Saturday morning, it was actually cold enough that I had to turn it down (up?)! Thanks, Goettl, for saving us! You’re a little expensive, but I guess supply and demand will do that. It’s the reason for one star removed- if not for the astronomical pricing, it would have been 5 stars.

Called after midnight for a leak. The answering service employee said he could have someone come by between 11 am and 1 pm.Doug Rivera arrived at about 11 am. He located the leak and fixed it. He applied the $50 discount card sent to me.He was knowledgeable 6 seems to enjoy his work.He gets a rating of 5 stars. Overall, the company gets 4 stars. The price is high per the time spent. He completed the job in less than an hour. Then, doing the payment took a few minutes.While the service is good, the price is steep. If one can't afford the payment, they'd have to charge it. Charging it would mean interest on the payment. Something as essential as plumbing should have the option of installment payments. You likely have some who would use you but can't afford it. I do realize installment plans can be problematic if one doesn't pay on time. Tricky situation for both you and the customer.Also, $89 to come out. I can see that if the customer declines to have the work done. If the customer agrees to the repair, the service fee ought to be taken off.Again. Doug is only charging what Goettl requires. He did the job and gets 5 stars.

Although it was not something we were expecting considering it is a brand new home he treated the issue with so much care and consideration. Josue was great! They found the issue very fast and got our air conditioner working within the hour that he was here. It was 84 in our house when they arrived and house has already cooled 6 degrees! 🥵 Very grateful for Goettl and their excellent customer service. We signed up as a member because we were so impressed and are looking forward to receiving regular maintenance from them.
Our AC system froze up on June 7. We called a local Cibolo tech who said to thaw out the system, change the air filter, and see what happens. All was good for a week or so; it appeared. I respect tech who was not out to grab money. We called Goettl on Sunday, June 19, and arranged for a rejuvenation. On Tuesday, June 21, the system froze again, and we called Goettl and told them the service call needed to shift from "re juuuuu-venation" to repair and possible replacement. The air handler was 8.5 years; the compressor was as old as the house,13.5 years old. The air handler died immediately when the warranty expired and was replaced with a different brand than the compressor. We have 3220 sq feet to cool.Goettl texted me and said a technician would be coming between 1 and 3 p.m. (the appointment time was bumped up., Yay!) on Wednesday, June 22. Our tech guy Billy, friendly and professional, took a look at our compressor and suggested that the compressor may be too small for the house. *Spoiler alert* He was right. He looked inside the system and ran several checks. The starting current for the compressor was just over 150 amps--not good. The compressor's max rating was 130 amps. The dude gave me some serious side-eye when I told him the air handler and compressor were different brands. Based on his looks and no words from him, this choice was egregious and unforgivable in Billy's world. I told him the price was right, and the fix lasted 8.5 years. He said that argument was hard to refute. He asked about the need for portable AC units that kept us afloat.The conversation was an easy one. There was zero pressure from Billy to upgrade. We discussed options such as ductwork and an additional thermostat for upstairs to deal with top versus floor heating and cooling differences and hopefully eliminate the need for portable AC units. Billy suggested that those future upgrades or modifications may be considered after the new system was in place. This former Navy Nuke knew that an upgrade was in order.The Goettl team arranged financing, at an excellent rate, in literally minutes via text messages and phone conversations. The Goettl teamwork was impressive because it was collaborative and factual. Then they offered us five options and discussed each cost, ratings, and warranty. We went with Number 4. Goettl arranged for next-day installation.As it happened on Wednesday, we received a text from Goettl on Thursday, June 23, saying that the installation team would be arriving around 1:30. The team and I hope I get the names right, Robert, Marcus, and Manny, got straight to work. Six hours later, we had an epic new system with matching parts.In celebration, we went out to Mr. Crabby's for another terrific meal. When we left, the downstairs was 76 degrees, and the upstairs was 82. When we returned in two hours, all rooms in the house were at 73°F. Kudos to Goettl and the entire team! Highly recommended. Being a college professor and former US Navy nuclear reactor operator, facts matter. Goettl's commercials suggest that they are very tech-savvy. The company's founder, the dad, was technically and ethically impressive. His traits and standards have been passed down and enhanced. They indeed do things the right way, not the easy way.The entire was not perfect. The text messages indicated the arrival time was just enough time for my wife or me to jet home and greet them. A little lead time could be helpful, but timing jobs of this nature to the hour or minutes is nearly impossible if you are doing things correctly. So my score is 99.9% out of 100.

It all started with a flashlight.
I was a ten-year-old boy holding a flashlight for my Dad while he worked on an air conditioner for a customer. His name was Duncan Goodrich. He didn’t talk much. But there’s a certain kind of magic that happens when a son holds a flashlight for his father. I held it steady and quiet and Dad talked to me while he worked.
