Came back from vacation and found that the kitchen sink was clogged. Goettl was able to come the next morning. Their technician Brendan was on-time and knowledgeable and fixed the problem quickly. James Estrada a bright and experienced tech from Goettl was dispatched here yesterday (Tuesday), and I had an easy-to-understand proposal last night. The proposal has all our options regarding, installation, insulation , and restoration broken-out perfectly.Goettl Plumbing and HVAC is new-ish to San Diego, but they have been in business for decades, and they are obviously trying to build a reputation (in SD) for service and quality work at a fair price. Brandon came out to our house because we had a leak under our Kitchen sink. He diagnosed the issue being that our pipes were so corroded away from being old pipes. He said that we caught the issue early so there wasn’t a lot of damage to the cabinets and to our walls. He got right on top of the issue and the next day the restoration team came out and started fixing the issue.

Mike analyzed a possible slab plumbing leakage. He was very professional, congenial and thorough. Luckily there was no slab leak but there was saturated ground from roof runoff. He also noted an irrigation system problem.

I hired Goettl to do a septic to sewer conversion for my property. Goettl not only had the best price, but it was also clear even during the estimate/quote process with Mike that they are thorough and dependable. When we encountered difficulties with the county, Goettl rose to the occasion and multiple team members got involved to ensure that the company did right by me while also following county code. When work finally started, it was done quickly and with extreme attention to detail. Andres and his crew were awesome. They had to cut through some of my cement and Andres repaved my cement better than any plumber I’ve ever seen – it looks even better than the rest of my sidewalk. They also made sure I knew where my new cleanouts were if I ever needed to snake my line and they replaced an old cast iron pipe that was on its way to failing even though it wasn’t in the contract! Lastly, the crew was super respectful of my property. They cleaned everything up, there was literally no trace of them once the job was done. Andres even put some rocks on top of the soil where the team had to dig so it wouldn’t be a muddy mess after it rains. Thanks to the whole crew at Goettl. I really appreciate the time, effort and troubleshooting that went into my project. I can certainly say I’ve found my plumbers and I’m sticking with them 😊2/7/24 updateI hired Goettl once again to repipe my house to replace bad gas lines and they were awesome. They did everything they could to go above and beyond. They even worked in the rain, there was a literal tornado warning and these guys still stayed on the job! John, Franky and Andres are the best. They were able to fix some other issues while repiping my house, giving me some extra features while they were already in there.
Marcus did a fantastic job. He was prompt and knowledgeable. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about him. I’m general, I feel like the company is way out of line on their service fees. Even after providing a discount, it was over $400 for a 15 min surge protector install.
Grant was the plumber that serviced my problem drain today. He was VERY knowledgeable and was pleasant & cheerful through a messy job. He was respectful and , professional as he explained all of the aspects of the drain system. He truly would be the reason I will use their service again.Very nice guy and again actually cheerful as he trudged in the equipment he need.Lastly, he persisted until the old drain system was flowing smoothly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brandon Fowler is great and very knowledgeable. I worked with many different contractors before but he gave me a sense of a family member. He was willing to give out tips without charging you extra, unlike some plumbers out there, only aim at customers' pockets. I'd recommend Brandon to friends and family.
Mike my technician was excellent 👌. Knowledgeable plumber! Hard worker, great demeanor on time. The company is one of the best I have delt with in the San Diego aera. Fixed our problem confident is what needed to be done. I Would reccomend this company to anyone I know. Leak fixed quickly
I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan with Goettl Plumbing today. I have met more than a handful of plumbers over the last week. He is THE 1ST to fully listen to the situation and take the time to fully mail out my wacky plumbing situation and then take the time to make sure I understood it fully. I am delighted to sit and write this review for a true knowledgeable professional. He put in so much time to make sure he really got it and addressed all my issues. He’s still doing his thing to he talk the specs for the bid but I am confident that I will actually get the bids I asked for, for the job I asked for, when he said he would provide them. That has not happened with the other five plumbers this week. Jordan knows what he’s doing and he wants to help his customers. Much appreciated!
Brandon was yet another shining example of the exemplary service provided by Goettl. They obviously only hire the best! The upfront costs are significant, but the subsequent warranty coverage makes it worth it.

I had a great experience starting with Javier responding to our call AC went out on portion of home. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and got the technical team together and they started asap. The following day we had Chris, Juan, Eric and Jarrel respond to our home in teams to put in the new AC and heat pump. These were the best contractors, professionals I ever had work on my property. They stayed till 9:30pm to make sure everything was done correctly and helped download app to run AC. I really appreciate this company and team and definitely will use them in the future years. Sergio Juvi and team did an excellent job responding to our plumbing concerns and tackling a big project. They arrived right on time, and were able to address the entire project in under 2 days. They were very respectful of our yard and landscaping, and left the yard looking just as it was prior to the project. Highly recommend.
Super impressed with Goettl. Ran into a nasty drain issue a few months ago, but due to rain and other ongoing construction could not address. Jordan sorted out issue temporarily, but flagged that cast iron drain lines were in bad shape.Last Friday, lines plugged and I could not clear, even trying with my snake. Called, Grant came out, and was able to clear a bit, but showed lines had effectively collapsed.Enter Sergio and crew. They arrived bright and early Saturday, cleared enough that we could use bathrooms for weekend. Full multi day job to renovate lines, finding buried clean outs, replacing those that were defective, clearing all blockages, installing liners, and installing spin coat where liners could not go. Communication was excellent, work was clean, workspace was well secured and left tidy each evening.I am super impressed with Sergio and his team! Amazed at how much they did in a few days.And overall, everyone I worked with was professional, competent, thoughtful in how they approached the problems, and worked super hard in this heat wave. Really impressed, 100% recommend.
James did a fantastic job. He found the problem and went the extra mile. He was not only professional but very knowledgeable in all aspects. I would recommend he and the company Goettl. Marcus came out to service our AC unit. He was super informative and helpful. He was very diligent about putting shoe covers on before entering our house and removing them when he needed to step outside to get something from his van. I really appreciate that as we are a no shoes in the house home.
Our main sewer line was completely clogged due to root invasion. Sergio and Oscar were great. They performed the service (hydrojetting and pipe lining) quickly and efficiently. They are also super nice guys. They kept us informed every step of the way. I will definitely use Goettl again in the future.

Second, the young man who provided the evaluation was remarkably professional, knowledgeable, capable and considerate. His name is Marcus, and he’s a star! I then got to speak to his superior David and we discussed financing to replace my Air Conditioning unit’s capacitor and fan motor! In addition to the new water heater installation, I also had a whole house re-pipe. The gentlemen who came to do the job were all very professional, courteous and kind. They were responsive and did an excellent job. I feel very lucky to have found Goettl!I must say the best part of all to me was working with Mike Ward. I can’t sing his praises enough for his professionalism and management!Sadly, it is very rare these days to encounter someone like Mike who cares so much that the job gets done right, so I feel like I hit the jackpot with him in charge. I’m sure you’ve heard this about him from many clients before me, but it certainly bears repeating.I was in panic mode in the beginning of all the chaos and Mike took great care to oversee that the job was performed even better than expected. To have excellent management is everything to a company! I know because I managed managers for 30 years and good ones are hard to find. My shower drain was clogged, I called the company to see if they could fix it. The lady I talked to Kim, was very professional. She took the time to explain to me how the repair would go. The response time for the repair team was impressive. I have had to wait hours before and this company amazed with with their professionalism and how timely they responded to my concern. Even the pricing was very fair. I feel a lot of times being a woman, repair companies try to take advantage of the things I don’t know about plumbing but this company did not do that and we’re very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend anyone using this company, I definitely will again! Thank you for the help.
I am so glad I chose Pacific Drain & Plumbing to complete my drain pipe lining and repairs.The drain pipes in my old apartment building kept backing up. Pacific Drain & Plumbing were the first company to find the real issue. PD&P used their cameras to pinpoint the failure and show me exactly what was going on, my cast iron pipes where cracked and rusting away.I got quotes from 3 different companies. Pacific Drain & Plumbing's quote was not the cheapest, but I felt their plan was the best and their personnel the most knowledgeable.I was right picking this company. The repairs under one apartment went well. They replaced the totally rusted out pipes and lined the others pipes all the way to the city sewer.Many months later, the drains under the other side of the building failed and water was everywhere. PD&P again did a great job with the repair.Both repairs where major undertakings. Their teams worked very well together and where considerate of our property and tenants. I would recommend this company and will use them again for any drain or plumbing needs.
The sewer pipe from our home to the city sewer line was originally installed in the 40s. It’s made out of tar paper called Orangeburg (cast iron was being diverted to the war effort). It’s served us much longer than expected. But root intrusions and general degradation caused a portion of it to collapse. The folks at Pacific Drain came out and quickly repaired the collapsed section. But they took it an extra step. They repaired our ancient sewer pipe by installing a sturdy epoxy liner inside of it, in under one day. This avoided the disruption of digging up the old pipe and replacing it. Now the pipe is good for another 25 years. Amazing! Their staff did an excellent job, were a pleasure to work with, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Pacific Drain for sewer pipe repair.
