No hard sell on repair work. Always explains work needed and rates it as urgent, helpful, or nice to have and the consequences of skipping the work. Has clear pictures to show issues. When I did decided to get a new unit they clearly laid out all the options and gave easy bullet points of the differences between the units. Did not pressure me when I picked the lowest tier because that’s what my budget could afford.
I have been with Goettl Air in Tucson for years and have always had complete confidence in their maintenance service. The technicians are knowledgeable and pleasant, on time, and work in an efficient and timely manner. They explain what they are doing and will make recommendations if a repair is warranted. I have purchased several preventive parts and find that my yearly inspections have been great — with little or no repair in the past years. I do like the option of a yearly maintenance contract. Having yearly maintenance keeps my furnace and air conditioner running efficiently. I would definitely recommend Goettl Air Conditioning.

Your technician arrived promptly as scheduled. He was very courteous. He explained to me what he was going to do during this first annual preventive maintenance service. When he was finished, he briefed me on an option that would help provide additional protection for my new Goettl air conditioner against lightning strikes. During the past year, I have compared my electric bills against those of a year ago. I have been experiencing a 15 to 20% savings on my electric bill since the installation of my new Goettl last March.
I see why Carl passed the Wheaten Greetin’! Our two schnauzers, Cooper and Tucker, met him at the door and became friends right away. My wife and I both were impressed with Carl’s friendly, professional, and informative demeanor. His AC and heating checkup service was thorough, and we were glad to have him in our home. A few days ago, I wrote a less than complimentary review on Goettl. I would like to update my review from giving them a two star, to awarding them a five star for their immediate and generous followup of my case. About three days after I posted my negative review, Dale, a Goettl representative showed up at my door to sit down and talk. I came to find out that we, as the general public should consider Goettl for a bid despite what you might have read on line at the BBB, Angies List, even me. Sure you should still do price comparisons. Goettl has had issues in the past, some serious, but a new owner has taken over and wants to turn the company around to what it used to be: honest, trustworthy, on time with top notch service and care. And to prove that, the owner refunded my entire service bill, not just for the “ceiling savers”, but the entire $712 that included servicing and cleaning my units. They know they have an uphill battle with the baggage from the past that the new owner has taken on, but this was certainly a good start, to say the least. And I’d like to say that sometimes the general public, including me, grows weary of needing to express their concerns, even unhappiness or anger, with a job not well done in ANY line of service. That too, can be an uphill battle as well, and it gets so frustrating to say the least. To have a business step up, like Goettl did, speaks to their integrity and their desire to make things right. Oh, and I kept my Goettl flashlight and Dale even gave me two more!
This company is professional and timely. I would recommend their service to anyone that needs AC work done. This was my first time using Goettl and they have made me a customer for life.
