Salt-Based Ion Exchange Softeners
Salt-based softeners are one solution to Reno’s high levels of calcium, magnesium, and sediments from mountain runoff and erosion. These hard mineral ions are exchanged for soft ions like potassium or sodium.
Reverse Osmosis – Salt-Free Conditioners
Goettl’s reverse osmosis system eliminates hard water problems without salt, while keeping beneficial minerals in place. In the Reno area, water sources include groundwater with a high mineral content and snow melt from the Sierra Nevada, making reverse osmosis an excellent water filter, one that can eliminate as much as 99% of dissolved minerals, impurities, and contaminants.
The process works by using a semi-permeable membrane which prevents scale buildup in your pipes. While some trace minerals can remain on items in your dishwasher, the system produces pure drinking water and improves water quality overall.
Dual-Tank Softeners
A dual-tank water softener features two resin tanks and one salt tank, a combination which provides a continuous soft water supply. Should one tank reach capacity, the system can then switch automatically to the other. For residents in the Reno area, this means soft water access all the time. I was so appreciative because I could not wait until Monday. He identified the problem right away. He was so pleasant and professional. The price was very reasonable considering it was an emergency.

Emergency Water Leak Call
I did not realize I had a water leak until late in the morning. I placed a service call, and although it was late morning, Larry B. arrived mid-afternoon to help. It took a bit to find the leak. Larry was able to band-aid the pinhole leak so that I could still have water for the evening until he could return the next morning to complete the repair. Larry definitely went above-and-beyond so we had water.

Jef was absolutely wonderful. Very patient. Took a look at everything that was wrong and explained what he needed to do and how to do it. He spent extra time helping me seal our pipes as we had a rodent issue getting into our outdoor unit (yikes). He was kind and did all he could to ease my traumatized mind. Had been experiencing a musty odor coming from air vents. Had air ducts cleaned by another company but odor remained. They were able to get a plumber out to repair cracked pipe and now the odor is gone. 4 Seasons (Goettle) gave me a reasonable estimate. EMERGENCY Plumber REPAIR
Sammie did a phenomenal job. We had a variety of issues at a home we just bought. He checked and cleaned every drain in the house (yes there were multiple issues) and then did the main lines as well. He discovered that the main sewer connection was broken! We have since lined up the local city sewer company to get it fixed. Goettl is a bit pricey but in the long run worth it. Goettl is my go to for plumbing!
