When to Get Serious About Air Conditioning Repair

Samuel Ripley was nice young man that advised me I could use a surge protector on my AC Unit. Then I asked him if I should put in new duct work. He contacted his Supervisor to set up the work and estimate. Goettl is a good company to work with and they have a lot of good people working for them.

Devin was so personable and funny. Definitely made a mundane experience better. Thanks for the quick service and their digital assistance when you call in was better than speaking to a live person!

This was my second time using Goettl, and they have proved that they are great. This time, I needed a water shut-off valve replaced urgently, and Brent was here the same day! Jeremy Ortega was my technician and he was very professional, thorough and personal able. He spent hours getting my AC unit running properly. I would definitely like to have him do any further AC work. Jorge Gutierrez was my technician and he discovered issues with the heating system and carbon monoxide getting into the home. We decided to replace heating and AC unit.

Isaias was friendly and polite. he came to do winter service on the furnace and found a problem. He took a picture and brought it down to show me which I was very happy with because I did not know what he would’ve been talking about. I think GOETTL Has a very good employee.

We've been having water pressure issues that was causing problems throughout the house. Our tech, Corey "Shane" Smith worked hard to problem solve the cause. He communicated with me throughout the whole process in a way that me feel comfortable and confident in his work. He was forthright, personable but still focused on the task at hand. He even gave suggestions on how to fix other non- plumbing issues.

I have had Goettl for my air conditioning and plumbing over a year and I have been very pleased with the service I’ve gotten in both areas. Alek DeLarosa was my plumbing technician today and did a very thorough job. It was the “above and beyond” part that was so appreciated. You can tell they really know their business when they sit and answer all your questions and really explain it. It made me feel I could make a knowledgeable decision today.

We just had a most fantastic experience with Mike HAVLU, plumber from Goettle plumbing.
Mike provided truly exceptional service. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he was extremely knowledgeable; he quickly and confidently diagnosed a very tricky issue that we had with our pipes, explaining everything clearly and answering all of our questions with patience. Been using these guys for years now. Water heater replacement, pressure regulator valve replacement, HVAC tune-ups, UV light installation and more. Their attention to detail is excellent. The guys they send out are a pleasure to talk with, know their stuff, answer all my questions, and explain things in an easy to understand manner. Most recent service with Taylor was to inspect a main water line leak. After finding the issue all my questions were answered very well and the different fix options were discussed. Taylor did an excellent job.

Edit 11/19/2025: That time of year for the heater rejuvenation - even though it's in the upper 80s right now. The technician who came out today was Jesus Gloria. He made sure everything was working like it should and cleaned the system as well. He also made recommendations on how to help keep it clean. As with everyone I've dealt with at Goettl, he was friendly and informative.

Edit 5/30/2025: It was A/C rejuvenation time and she needed a little maintenance work done. Andrew Morgan came out to give her the attention she needed this time. He diagnosed the issue, thoroughly explained what was going on and what was needed to help keep her in good working condition, and proceeded to take care of things today - which I greatly appreciated! Would recommend him to anyone.

Edit 11/22/2024: Since Google doesn't allow you to leave another review for the same company, I'm editing a previous one to add a new review for Matthew Lopez. It was time for my furnace rejuvenation and fortunately it was a cool enough day to turn the heater on for the first time. He was prompt, friendly and knew his stuff. He took his time checking things out and made sure I didn't have any questions or issues before he left. Because I have allergies and pets, he did tell me about an air purification system that I might want to consider in the future, which I appreciated. Would definitely recommend him and Goettl.

Edit 12/23/2022: previously I've used them for plumbing but today I used their AC/Heating service. My poor system decided it was time to go on one of our coldest nights. Called very very early and had someone out that morning to triage what needed to be done (Billy) and then Raymond and Manny G came out and installed my new unit and a new thermostat. Everyone was friendly, informative, didn't mind questions, let me know what was happening along the way and Raymond even cleaned up after they were done! Thanks guys!

I've used Goettl a few times for plumbing issues and have always found them to be very communicative, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Ralph was the latest one to come out and I appreciate the way he listened to me and answered my questions. Even more importantly, I appreciate the price! I've recommended them to family, friends and co-workers as a company that can be trusted. Nice to know I'm in good hands.

Jesus and Anthony are very sharp and they did an amazing job of analyzing my complicated hvac system in my 106 year old home. Jesus came up with a plan that will fix a problem caused by another hvac company that has cost me a lot in electric bills. They also recommended better Insullation which I had been lax in keeping up with. Jesus and Anthony are friendly and I have complete confidence i their honesty and integrity.

Have had great service from Goettl on a few appts. First time reviewing. Mostly just slows drains, previously, always easy to get an appt. So that is appreciated. Had a toilet put in yesterday so my first install. and the installer was awesome. Nick Mayhew. He was professional and personable. Got the job done timely and the toilet looks great. Also he took care of cleaning up and took out the old toilet and boxes. really appreciate all the guys that have helped me from Goettl. You rock!

Diego just finished servicing our furnaces. He was very courteous and professional. He took the time to explain what he did and the condition of our equipment. He was very thorough and we appreciated his attention in the servicing of our products!

Made an appointment Sunday morning online to have my AC looked at. Peter came out inspected my 10/20 year old system and it was no bueno. Bit the bullet for a brand new system and was relieved to know it could be installed that same Sunday. That’s when Manny and Jackson came into the situation. Those 2 spent all afternoon installing the new system, took the time to explain every step that was going on. Both were extremely knowledgeable and made sure I understood the ins and outs of my new system. And they came back the next day to finish cleaning the air ducts and to double check everything they had just installed. Manny and Jackson are both top tiered technicians who made this experience easy.

Chris was highly knowledgeable and confident in his diagnostic skills. He found the problem in just a few minutes. He went further with his diagnostics and found a crack in the dreaded manifold. We are now getting a new system put in and I will review that when it is done. The wife also mentioned that she was impressed with the thorough explanation that he provided about the problems with our current system.

Mark was very efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable of products used as was Josh who was here previously. Really appreciated their extra effort to leave their work area clean.

He cleaned everything out, started my Heater after dusting it it didn’t smell like it normally does when you first started it for the season. He cleaned the drain and checked the monitoring system. I really value an honest opinion these days when it feels like everyone is trying to sell you extra things you don’t need. He did great work. It was exactly what we discussed. We were shown photos of our roof A/C Unit and the parts that needed to be replaced. We were told why each part needed to be replaced and what could happen if we "let it ride". We are totally satisfied with the service provided!

Jonathan Johnson came to our home to inspect and service the furnace in preparation for winter cold temperatures. I thought Jonathan did a very good job. He was conscientious and thorough, and skilled in his work. I would be very happy to have him return again.

The tech Andrew Stone was knowledgeable and took the time to explain fully the problems that could occur with our plumping system. I have had two over flows in the sewer system in the past but before Goettl I didn’t understand what should be done to eliminate the problem in future . I had my HVAC serviced today. I received thorough and extremely knowledgeable customer service and support from Adam Wisdom, Chris Fischer and Nick Staggs. I've never seen a group of people actually put their heads together and use all of their knowledge to solve a problem. They really cared! What I was used to was other repair people not even trying. These guys don't give up. They took the time to explain to me what was going on with my HVAC. Then all 3 came back with a solution. Trust and great service is what these guys are building. My HVAC system was acting funny and running when both thermostats were set to off. Their Tech Josias came out, was on time and we discovered the problem was a severely restricted air filter - due to massive construction around our development. We're on their monthly retainer plan and Goettl is GREAT!!! Just had Josias come out and check my A/C - all it needed was a whiff of refrigerant - got it done in 10 minutes and it's good for all summer!

March 2024 update.

Had Andrew come out to remove garbage disposal and repipe sink. He also swapped out 13 emergency water shut off valves in 3 bathrooms.
Andrew was professional, courteous and expedient. He did have to run out to get some supplies. He stayed until 7pm to complete the job on one trip.

May 2023 update. Technician Steve came today to do the summer rejuvenation. Friendly and professional tech. Explained the process and findings. Both systems are new, so everything checked out good. Did a god cleaning of coils and now all set for the summer season. Had them out for fall prevention service and to review the systems that are here. I just bought the house and needed to understand what was in place.

The service tech, Kevin was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He explained and provided photos and video of all components. He ensured keeping house clean and wore booties.

My second unit is not in the best shape, and Kevin explained each of the issues. I will follow up with service managér to determine next steps (repair or replacement).

I signed up for there service plan and am very pleased with the service and communication to date

12/21 Luis C came today to do routine maintenance on hot water heater. Professional and courteous. He did a through job and explained everything.

10/15. Juan came today and did a great job. He was professional, courteous and friendly. Was here for exterior water bid but also did a hot water heater. Took his time and explained everything.

10/22 update. Timothy was here to due furnace rejuvenation. Very professional, courteous and friendly. He did a very thorough inspection. Everything looked good, but did comment on lack of insulation as has been noted before. Did not have current code. But was ok. Explained the benefit of higher level/depth of insulation. Scheduled so as to get current rebates.

11/12/25. Calob came to install a whole house filter, purifier, water softener. Along with reverse osmosis in kitchen. Calob was was professional courteous and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the system and needs. He took his time and did not rush. He did run into a problem with the softener and worked it with the assistance of the home office. Calob left the place clean And all picked up. Great service and cheers the Goetrl!

Had a new water heater installed today by your technician Conner. He did a fantastic job from start to finish. He let us know when he would be arriving via text and when he got here he explained what he would be doing today. He was very personable and professional from start to finish. He is a compliment to your organization! This is the third time I have had one of your techs come in for a job and I have not been disappointed!! Thank you again for the great service!!!

Extremely professional and courteous. They requested an earlier arrival time, were punctual, and completed the job before 4 pm. Today, Rodell did a thorough clean-out of our bathroom sink drains, including sending the camera down to check for build up out to the main connection to the sewer. This was included in our membership with no extra charge. He and his partner also found the mystery leak in the guest bathroom toilet and replaced the guts and seals. The thing I liked the best was his advice about maintenance and how that little hole in the sink is a real drain that also needs flushing out by letting the sink fill up periodically. Called Goettl to support in providing some estimates in moving my washer and dryer connections as part of a renovation project.
Given the extent of the work I need to get multiple quotes and some companies insist on expensive trip charges (one up to $500) to have a “specialist” assess before providing a quote for the work.
These guys were timely, transparent and uncomplicated. I appreciate Shane for quickly putting together an estimate before even leaving the house, providing multiple options at various price point and without pressure of upfront commitment.

Nate came to inspect our HVAC systems. He did a very thorough job, then went through his findings and recommendations with us, including numerous photos he had taken. He came, performed his maintenence inside and out and at the end provide his assessment alone with photos. Goettl techs don't come in and leave in 15 minutes, they are through in what they do. Goettl has been amazing w/prices and top-notch work. The service technicians have been nothing but great. We had Mike H install a whole new water heater, pressure valve regulator, and new washer hoses. Initially, the visit was for a free full house plumbing check that comes free w/our membership, and we suspected our water heater was having issues so it was helpful to have Mike come out and check. He checked our water heater last, and, unfortunately, our suspicions were correct. Our water heater needed to be replaced b/c it was old. Mike explained to us the issues it was experiencing, and the too high pressure level our water was at. He made it clear the urgency needed in replacing the water heater and lowering the water pressure level, but he never made us feel pressured to make any decisions right then and there w/him, which we appreciated. However, we still decided in the moment to move forward w/Mike at Goettl b/c we had such a great experience w/Goettl HVAC during the summer, so we trusted him and his recommendations. Thankfully, Mike was able to tackle the biggest problem that same day and at that moment — the water pressure level. He made us feel like a priority and that our peace of mind, finances, and home mattered. We were able to get in just a couple of business days later for the whole water heater revamp. Day of water heater installation, Mike showed up on time, early, and completed the work in just a few hours. It was impressive. He left the work area clean, debris free, and his final work looks amazing. Mike was personable, professional, and made us feel like he genuinely cared about our home. 10/10 would recommend Mike H from Goettl. 10/10 would recommend Goettl in general — great company, knowledgeable service technicians, affordable prices, and amazing work.

Our repair guy Jeff was great. Jeff repaired a water valve and outdoor water spigot/handle in our backyard. He also took the time to show us where our main water shutoff valves were located and labeled them for us ( We just moved in.)

I requested a plumbing drain inspection from Goettl. Service rep arrived introduced him self and went quickly to work. He was courteous and polite. He proceeded to inspect my plumbing and Drains. Shortly after he visited my hot water room he requested be to accompany him to observe there was a stream of water coming out of thr drain pan. He reviewed with me some of the items associated with my current installation that might be best updated and replaced. He gave me an estimate and we should. Hands and he proceeded to remove and replace my hot water heater. The job was completed and tested tan a timely manner and he left the area in a clean and organized manner. We ordered a new refrigerator from Lowe’s. When they delivered it, they said they could not install the water line. We were not familiar with plumbers so we asked our neighbor who did the plumbing in his new shower. He said Goettl and he was very happy with the results. I called them they sent out a wonderful servicemen, Gerardo Gonzalez. The builders had used 3/8” pipes and Lowe’s seemed to only have 1/4” connectors. Gerardo solved our problem and we had to get Lowe’s out again the next day to finish the install. We highly recommend Goettl and appreciate the caliber of their staff!

This is how a service/install company should work. Price was exactly as quoted and was very fair, comparing to multiple others. They never tried to add on extras like all the others did. Installation day was when they said it would be. They scheduled the building permit, attended the inspection, and it was on time. Best for last, the system works perfectly and is super quiet Why can't more companies do business like this.

We have been Sadi club members for years. The service is excellent from the customer service representatives that answer the phone to the individual technicians that come out to your home. Two years ago we replaced our AC unit and went with a Goettl installation after years of having them maintain our older unit.
This past week our service technician was Andrew Morgan and he is such a friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled technician. He spent time making sure the job was done correctly and he explained it in terms that I could understand. Not only is our unit functioning even better than before, I also gained knowledge of how the system works.

Called with a broken pipe under house. Napoleon came out quickly and got the repair done super fast. Such a kind person and was very reassuring when I was freaking out. Such a great company!

Griffin Cottrell did the yearly check of my air conditioning unit. He seemed knowledgeable, thorough and persistent. When he found the unit was functioning at 35%, he continued to search for the reason why. He replaced the capacitor and cleaned the coils which improved the function. We called on a Saturday and thankfully Christian Acosta was the one on call to help us out. He was knowledgeable, kind, super patient with our very curious child, and did absolutely everything in his power to get our AC back on. Unfortunately the blower motor was toast. He got us set up with a window unit for the time being and. Fast forward to today, Wednesday, and Christian and Ian came to install a new blower motor for us. Both gentleman were wonderful! They kept us informed of the process and what to expect as they replaced the parts. Our house is already cooling back down and I have Christian and Ian to thank for that! They did inform us of a military discount, which was very helpful, and they insured the entire process was as streamlined as it could be. If we ever need assistance in the future, I will be calling and asking for Christian and Ian because I know they will ensure that our HVAC system has been treated with the highest quality of service. They also brought our son an adorable plushie of Sadie, the Goettle mascot, and a flashlight. Its comforting to know that when Christian and Ian are on the job, you'll be taken care of as if they were working on their own homes.

I had a plumbing issue that was addressed within 2 hours by an extremely knowledgeable master plumber that explained every step of the repair. His expertise and kind communication were reassuring.

Jerry also noticed our water pressure was low after flushing toilet then trying to wash hands in bathroom sink which were so he suggested a new pressure regulator as we have had a new better water conditioning system installed. We now have the best water pressure even when using a shower and kitchen sink faucet at the same time. Also Jerry is a master plumber and we appreciate his knowledge and experience. Will definitely call Goettl again when a plumber is needed.

Company sent us Stanley to help with a water line for our refrigerator. Had several problems but Stanley was very knowledgeable and informed us of all decisions and you could tell he just lived his job. It was a pricey fix and I respected Stanley more for being situationally aware that my wife and I needed to talk in private. He informed us, gave space and time to decide, and ultimately helped us out with the repairs. Others in management were very helpful too. Overall great experience

5 star service from Edgar who had to come do a second inspection after the home warranty company did not properly calibrate the unit. He was able to get the unit running smoother and provide great documentation for when I need to call the warranty company.

Andrew was on time, determined the flange needed to be replaced, gave us the quote and scope of work, and made the repairs. He explained how the placement was off, and that it appeared to have been like that since construction (21 years ago when we built).
Now we have a new flange, installed correctly, and ready for the new toilet!

Had an issue after a recent servicing and called for help. I don't know who the woman was that I spoke with in the phone but she was empathetic and very kind. She did what she could to make sure someone could come out same day and was able to find someone even though it was Labor Day weekend!
