Located in a community of residents, vacation homes, and rentals, Reno’s tight-knit team of 24 Goettl employees operates under an “all for one and one for all” philosophy. The branch’s strong culture of teamwork ensures that everyone helps each other out when needed, no matter the circumstances. The Goettl team in Reno holds certifications such as Heat Exchanger Experts (safety training) and NATE, the nation’s largest nonprofit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration technicians. The branch also employs several bilingual team members to serve the Spanish-speaking community.

The Reno team operates in 5,000 square feet of warehouse space, stocked with all the necessary parts to keep our 10 trucks fully loaded to complete most common repairs on the spot.

One notable initiative is Goettl’s “4 Degree Guarantee” partnership with KRNV News 4. This unique collaboration supports local nonprofits, like the Children’s Cabinet, monthly. Every day during the 4 p.m. newscast, the Weather Authority team at KRNV Channel 4 predicts the next day’s high temperature at the Reno Tahoe Airport. If their prediction is accurate within 4 degrees, Goettl and News 4 donate to that month’s selected charitable organization.

Goettl Reno also supports the “Share Your Christmas” Drive-By Food Drive and the Reno Rodeo Denim Drive, an annual campaign that supplies essential clothing and comfort items for infants, children, and teens who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Additionally, Goettl is proud to sponsor the jerseys for the summer Tookey Hockey clinic, run by ex-pro AHL Hall of Famer and Master’s level USA hockey coach Tim Tookey.

Located in the northwest corner of the city, close to the University of Reno, the Goettl team serves homeowners in the Reno, Sparks, Hidden Valley, and Arrow Creek neighborhoods. Office hours are 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday, and the team is available Saturday/Sunday and after hours for emergency calls.

Based on my experience with their technician Jordan, I HIGHLY recommend Goettl! Jordan saved us THOUSANDS of dollars in repair or replacement! We had received quotes from our (now-previous) HVAC company to repair or replace our 10 YO HVAC system. I run an Airbnb with 5 rooms in my home, and my tankless water heater suddenly went out. In my case, this was an emergency, especially with the weather getting colder. Goettl ensured that a technician arrived within a few hours, and Juan Gil showed up in good spirits and ready to solve the puzzle.

Like most people, I typically search for the cheapest service I can find, and I end up having other plumbers come out to check out issues with my tankless water heater, who run their mouths, upsell parts (that don't seem to be causing the problem), and generally don't really know enough about tankless water heaters. This time, I decided to go with an experienced company with a good reputation, and I am glad that I did - Goettl's prices are very reasonable and worth the service they provide.

Juan, was very knowledgeable, patient, and persistent. Even better, he was careful and humble enough to acknowledge that he didn't know everything and checked with the manufacturer at every step. Juan spent a great deal of time helping me diagnose the problem (which always seems impossible to ascertain quickly with machines like tankless water heaters), and went above and beyond to ensure that my guests and I had hot water tonight.

Juan never got frustrated; he handled everything carefully and made sure to clean up after himself when he was done. If I can have Juan take care of all of my plumbing or AC issues in the future, I will. And if you're reading reviews to decide whether to call Goettl for your issue, I would encourage you to trust their service and experience. My experience with Juan was definitely memorable.

We now have hot water again. Can I get a "hell yeah"?

Clogged toilet with slow flushing that affected the shower drainage as well.
My house is a 1944 home with some old pipes. There's no "let out"
Plumbing specialist Andrew came up with the option to remove the toilet and use the camera and auger. Found out the problem was one of the pipes below is cast iron with jagged edges,in which tp would get caught up and in time caused the clog.
He cleared the pipe and everything is draining properly now!
He did mention on replacing the old pipe because of the jagged edge situation, but my budget is a bit on the tight side in which I have to put it off a little longer, he understood. We both agreed on limiting tp flushing,especially with little ones.
All in all great experience 5 stars to Goettl and 5 stars to Andrew, thanks man!

PS: I paid $408 for everything
For me a reasonable price due to the labor I saw and tools that were used, but ultimately my toilet fluhes and my shower drains!

From Deano who initially came out because we had no heat to working with Mike after we decided replacement of such an old system was our best decision to Nick’s installation. Pablo arrived in the window that was promised. He was very efficient when something wasn’t working quite right. He found another workaround to inspect my heating system. He cleaned off the firing point with sandpaper as I’ve seen many other technicians. Do he inspected everything took pictures of everything and sent the pictures to me. He asked if I would be interested in a price on a new system. I told him not at this time there was no hard sell. My system is now 21 years old. I plan to replace the heater and air conditioner, but not for another few years. I found four seasons to be excellent and Goettl to be just as good.

Today, Rodell did a thorough clean-out of our bathroom sink drains, including sending the camera down to check for build up out to the main connection to the sewer. This was included in our membership with no extra charge. He and his partner also found the mystery leak in the guest bathroom toilet and replaced the guts and seals. The thing I liked the best was his advice about maintenance and how that little hole in the sink is a real drain that also needs flushing out by letting the sink fill up periodically. We ordered a new refrigerator from Lowe’s. When they delivered it, they said they could not install the water line. We were not familiar with plumbers so we asked our neighbor who did the plumbing in his new shower. He said Goettl and he was very happy with the results. I called them they sent out a wonderful servicemen, Gerardo Gonzalez. The builders had used 3/8” pipes and Lowe’s seemed to only have 1/4” connectors. Gerardo solved our problem and we had to get Lowe’s out again the next day to finish the install. We highly recommend Goettl and appreciate the caliber of their staff!

This is how a service/install company should work. Price was exactly as quoted and was very fair, comparing to multiple others. They never tried to add on extras like all the others did. Installation day was when they said it would be. They scheduled the building permit, attended the inspection, and it was on time.
