What Can I Expect to Happen During Routine AC Maintenance?

Saw both Daniel S and Kevin today for 2 different reasons,, both were great and explained everything they inspected and what needs to be done,, love working with Goettl

My technician today was Ron. He showed up promptly first thing in the morning, and he provided excellent customer service and was very professional.

My experience with Goettl has been fantastic thus far. Stanley only served to strengthen my belief that any resources spent with Goettl are well allocated. Stanley was professional from the first contact (calling before arrival) through the full service. His obvious competency provided confidence that the work was done correctly and in a timely fashion. I appreciate the information Stanley provided and the time he spent to ensure I understood it's significance. I would suggest Stanley specifically, and Goettl generally to anyone who asks.

Goettl responded within an hour to a it water heater failure. Andrew was sent out and was friendly, professional and skilled. Goettl worked with me on price and Andrew had a new hot water heater installed before noon. Great job!

Devin Clay was good and professional. Needed a hot water heater flush and a new rod because I haven’t done that in 10 years. He did the job efficiently and quickly.

Adam was prompt and professional when we called for a plumbing check. Adam took the time to check everything to ensure everything was good. Provided us clear understanding of what could be going on with the water in our house.

They came and they were GOOD! They came on time, and were both very polite and kind. They even gave my dog a stuffed animal!

Alberto and Jose came out yesterday to patch up some drywall and stucco from the installation of my new heat pump. They arrived on time and presented themselves professionally. I asked Alberto if he could leave me a chip of paint, figuring I was going to have to paint the patch. I was surprised when he said hat they were going to paint it. I wasn't expecting that! Two hours later, they patched inside and out and reinstalled/framed/painted my attic hatch. These guys are talented! They matched the color exactly and I can't tell where the patch is! Thanks Alberto, Jose, and Goettl!

I had an air conditioning inspection. Isais was efficient and very kind. I couldn’t check the service part as it didn’t have air conditioner maintenance.

Russ came to check on and perform maintenance on our a/c unit. He had to replace and add a new part which would help the system operate efficiently. He took care of everything quickly and efficiently and was courteous, pleasant and professional. Russ also took the time to talk to me about repairing or replacing my 13 year old unit. I decided to replace it.

Andrew, the plumber was very respectful and knowledgeable. He did a great job determining what the problem was, clearing the drain clog, and then verifying with a camera that the line was clear.

Received excellent service from technician Jonathan to inspect for potential plumbing leaks. He was courteous and thorough checking everything. Fortunately, no major issues but he gave great advice on recommended maintenance for my toilets, water heater, and water softener and other things to look out for and provided write up of estimates. Discovered a leak a big leak outside to house. Called Epcor - told me my responsibility. Called Goettl and immediately dispatched Zach to my residence. Zach immediately leaped into action to replace defective equipment and leak disappeared. I love this fine establishment and Zach too!!

I needed to replace 4 bathroom sink faucets. The technician brought in the style I had indicated similar to another faucet replace years ago in a small bathroom .After opening the box to see it I was not ok with the size. I met the tech @ Home Depot where we found the exact style. I was so happy they would help solve the problem & consider customer satisfaction. It looks beautiful!!!! I am always impressed with the excellent workmanship & personal attention Goettl techs possess when at my home. Our technician Matt Tanner was awesome! Our appointment was between 9 AM and 1 PM, and thankfully Matt was timely and there at 9 AM because our air conditioner had stopped working since yesterday. My husband and I couldn’t afford the cost to replace the broken parts, but Matt took the time out to put a repair “band-aid” on our air conditioner, just so we can have air conditioning! i’m not sure why it took us so long to find this place, but now I know I’ll never go anywhere else again!

Had a quick and great experience with Jason, thank you for your help and informing us of the ways to fix our AC unit. We have two AC units and the one upstairs went out a couple days ago, we were able to get someone out here the same day we called!

Tech came in to check on the A/C
Thermostat. Stopped working on Monday night 10/20 /2025. GOETTL Tech. Kevin Andrew text to notify me of his ETA. Was very punctual. Explain what the problem was, he checked it out , went up to attic and found the problem. Explain to me the issues that was causing the A/C Thermostat to turn off. Went into detail explaining to me what was causing the A/C Thermostat to turn off. He was very professionalc and ourteous.

Bronson was just great. I had a lot of questions that were small but important to me and he took the time to address all of them. Very kind, patient and caring.

Michael came to my house at exactly the time he said he would. He was very polite and did the inspection on my unit, which is good. . Good job!! He cleaned out the gunk that had built up, causing a ceiling leak. He got here and worked his butt off until the job was done.

Service was timely and thorough. The technician Juan Gil was great, came back in the evening after getting a needed part to finish the job so we’d have hot water the next day. Definitely recommend.

March 2024 update.

Had Andrew come out to remove garbage disposal and repipe sink. He also swapped out 13 emergency water shut off valves in 3 bathrooms.
Andrew was professional, courteous and expedient. He did have to run out to get some supplies. He stayed until 7pm to complete the job on one trip.

May 2023 update. Technician Steve came today to do the summer rejuvenation. Friendly and professional tech. Explained the process and findings. Both systems are new, so everything checked out good. Did a god cleaning of coils and now all set for the summer season. Had them out for fall prevention service and to review the systems that are here. I just bought the house and needed to understand what was in place.

The service tech, Kevin was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He explained and provided photos and video of all components. He ensured keeping house clean and wore booties.

My second unit is not in the best shape, and Kevin explained each of the issues. I will follow up with service managér to determine next steps (repair or replacement).

I signed up for there service plan and am very pleased with the service and communication to date

12/21 Luis C came today to do routine maintenance on hot water heater. Professional and courteous. He did a through job and explained everything.

10/15. Juan came today and did a great job. He was professional, courteous and friendly. Was here for exterior water bid but also did a hot water heater. Took his time and explained everything.

10/22 update. Timothy was here to due furnace rejuvenation. Very professional, courteous and friendly. He did a very thorough inspection. Everything looked good, but did comment on lack of insulation as has been noted before. Did not have current code. But was ok. Explained the benefit of higher level/depth of insulation. Scheduled so as to get current rebates.

Both Kaelen & Richard were very nice and professional. Kaelen took his time trying to get all things wrong to working but my system broke his meter making it impossible. Since it was late & dark & off the next day, they sent Richard to fix the outside portion of the problem today and I’m back in service and working better than before. Please give my thanks to both of these young men & the managers who shared their goal. Thank you so much, Kathi

As usual, a great experience with Blair and Goettl. Finally breaking down and getting the water softener system I know I need. In just one year, my new water heater had a ton of minerals at the bottom so this is necessary. Blair was incredibly thorough on my home plumbing inspection.

After having a brand new unit less than 1 year it wasn't cooling. Had 3 different technicians, 3 different times make a trip out to see what was going on. Not one of them could find anything wrong. Told me keep doors open for better air flow and a couple different options. Still not working, I had to call a different company because I was tired of it getting hot in the house. It took them 1 visit to find it was the reverse valve all along. Tried to get compensation for their techs not fixing or even checking that part. Was told no due to lack of maintenance. Lol. Not 1 of the 3 that came out even checked that part.

My concerns have been resolved satisfactorily. They will continue to get my business. Thank you!

My Goettl technician Ashton was very efficient and thorough, and took extra care in cleaning up, when servicing my Furnace. Nobody ever realizes just how much of a role AC plays in your day to day until it goes out.
After toughing it out for a night I scheduled a service check with Goettl. Jorge came out and I'm so thankful that he was the one to show up. I was greeted at the door with a gift for my doggo and a new flashlight. Jorge took a look at my system and he knew his stuff. Optimal operating temperatures, pressures and the whole works. He took the time to explain it to me, show me the failed parts and even give me a list of options. With those he gave me realistic expectations at each price point.
He was able to work his magic and get my system back online and my house cool again. This isn't my first time calling on goettl and it won't be my last.

I bought my system 2 years ago . I'm very happy with the customer service. Everyone is very nice and they make sure they understand your problem . I've never had to wait very long for a tech to come out. They're all very nice people that have come out and they know what they're doing and they fix the problem. Yesterday I had my tankless water heater flushed. My service tech was Napoleon, very polite and personable, and clearly Sadie approved. He ran into a few snags due to my heating unit and handled them like a champ. Goettl should be very proud to have him as an employee. Very Happy with the service.

Nice team … The two ladies that installed my HVAC system were incredible… They did a very neat job and checked everything thoroughly. They cleaned up after themselves and my house was spotless! Jorge did an absolutely amazing job getting my AC system back up and running. He explained step by step in detail exactly what he was doing and why to such an extent that someone like me that knows zero about ACs understood the whole process. Normally I feel like AC companies try to rip you off and pull the wool over your eyes to oversell you on things you don't need but it was nothing like that experience. He fixed what needed to be fixed and explained why it might have happened and some potential things needed to help avoid it in the future. I couldn't have asked for better service and will absolutely use them again in the future and recommend them to all my friends. Give Jorge a raise because he does an incredible job representing your company.

We had a home warranty service person come out first. He didn't remove the ac top to look inside. Without going into the crawl space or checking out much, he was done with the inspection. When Hunter from Goettl came out, he was beyond thorough. He took lots of pictures and inspected every aspect of our unit. His recommendations were based on facts and what he had discovered. He was able to give us the tools we needed in order to make an informed decision. The process of installing the unit was easy and stress free.

Abdiel Chavez and Josh Estrada were awesome, and I would welcome them back to my home any time. They were extremely nice and very well versed in their Kraft. What a breath of fresh air they are!! All of my inspections and services were handled in an excellent manner. I am definitely considering Goettl for my new air conditioning system. Thank you Abdiel and Josh!

Jef came to our house to diagnose why our 22 year-old furnace wouldn't run correctly. He was very courteous and willing to answer my questions with as much detail as I wanted. I never felt like he was trying to sell me more than was needed to get the furnace running again. He explained, with pictures of our furnace's components, what he found when he inspected it. It simply needed a cleaning and routine service which fortunately was not a huge expense.
He explained, while he saw no immediate problems. what we might expect going forward, given the furnace's age and condition. After I asked about major component vs. whole-unit replacement, he provided a thorough explanation, and pricing, of options for us to consider.

Caleb anzelo fawcett was soooooo helpful as a professional in reviewing my issues snd questions. He came to resolve a water softening issue and was very detailed and thorough. Great combination of a professional and personal approach. He gave me confidence and truly represented Goettle as a caring and knowledgeable professional.

He is very knowledgeable about what is going on with my A/C system. He explained everything to me and my husband very clearly. He spoke to us about the static filter. I love Stacy as my A/C technician .

My water heater was replaced within 24 hours of my call, on a weekend no less.
The service was perfect. The technician Julian Bray was pleasant, knowledgeable and completed the install quickly. The area was left cleaner than when he arrived.

On time, very friendly, and fair pricing. Mike is the nicest guy you'd want to meet and spent a lot of time explaining the work that needed to be done.

Geo came out to our house. He went under the house and evaluated the issues. He took pictures and explained what had to be fixed. It was a fairly large job which he completed on a day convenient for us. He worked several hours. He took pictures of completed work. He made sure I was satisfied and had no questions. I requested a plumbing drain inspection from Goettl. Service rep arrived introduced him self and went quickly to work. He was courteous and polite. He proceeded to inspect my plumbing and Drains. Shortly after he visited my hot water room he requested be to accompany him to observe there was a stream of water coming out of thr drain pan. He reviewed with me some of the items associated with my current installation that might be best updated and replaced. He gave me an estimate and we should. Hands and he proceeded to remove and replace my hot water heater. The job was completed and tested tan a timely manner and he left the area in a clean and organized manner. Michael did a great job for us today. Our sewage line was completely blocked by roots. He showed me with the camera and educated me on what was happening to our old iron cast line. He knew what he was doing, the what, the why is this happening. This is going to be a major project having to replace the entire line and he informed me on how this process works and the time and effort and safety it takes to replace a line. Goettl's website was easy to use and we got an appointment the very next day. Great job Michael. Will definitely use Goettl again.

We’ve been Goettl customers for years and have always appreciated their service, but Kevin Edwards truly raised the bar. During his visit yesterday, Kevin showed outstanding attention to detail and technical expertise. He thoroughly inspected every part of our HVAC system, documenting his findings with photos and clearly explaining issues that had gone unnoticed through several previous service visits.

Kevin discovered that our HVAC system had been improperly installed when the home was built—something no other technician had identified. We ordered a new refrigerator from Lowe’s. When they delivered it, they said they could not install the water line. We were not familiar with plumbers so we asked our neighbor who did the plumbing in his new shower. He said Goettl and he was very happy with the results. I called them they sent out a wonderful servicemen, Gerardo Gonzalez. The builders had used 3/8” pipes and Lowe’s seemed to only have 1/4” connectors. Gerardo solved our problem and we had to get Lowe’s out again the next day to finish the install. We highly recommend Goettl and appreciate the caliber of their staff!

This is how a service/install company should work. Price was exactly as quoted and was very fair, comparing to multiple others. They never tried to add on extras like all the others did. Installation day was when they said it would be. They scheduled the building permit, attended the inspection, and it was on time. Best for last, the system works perfectly and is super quiet Why can't more companies do business like this.

We have been Sadi club members for years. The service is excellent from the customer service representatives that answer the phone to the individual technicians that come out to your home. Two years ago we replaced our AC unit and went with a Goettl installation after years of having them maintain our older unit.
This past week our service technician was Andrew Morgan and he is such a friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled technician. He spent time making sure the job was done correctly and he explained it in terms that I could understand. Not only is our unit functioning even better than before, I also gained knowledge of how the system works.

Called with a broken pipe under house. Napoleon came out quickly and got the repair done super fast. Such a kind person and was very reassuring when I was freaking out. Such a great company!

When he found the unit was functioning at 35%, he continued to search for the reason why. He replaced the capacitor and cleaned the coils which improved the function. We called on a Saturday and thankfully Christian Acosta was the one on call to help us out. He was knowledgeable, kind, super patient with our very curious child, and did absolutely everything in his power to get our AC back on. Unfortunately the blower motor was toast. He got us set up with a window unit for the time being and. Fast forward to today, Wednesday, and Christian and Ian came to install a new blower motor for us. Both gentleman were wonderful! They kept us informed of the process and what to expect as they replaced the parts. Our house is already cooling back down and I have Christian and Ian to thank for that! They did inform us of a military discount, which was very helpful, and they insured the entire process was as streamlined as it could be. If we ever need assistance in the future, I will be calling and asking for Christian and Ian because I know they will ensure that our HVAC system has been treated with the highest quality of service. They also brought our son an adorable plushie of Sadie, the Goettle mascot, and a flashlight. Its comforting to know that when Christian and Ian are on the job, you'll be taken care of as if they were working on their own homes.

I had a plumbing issue that was addressed within 2 hours by an extremely knowledgeable master plumber that explained every step of the repair. His expertise and kind communication were reassuring.

Jerry also noticed our water pressure was low after flushing toilet then trying to wash hands in bathroom sink which were so he suggested a new pressure regulator as we have had a new better water conditioning system installed. We now have the best water pressure even when using a shower and kitchen sink faucet at the same time. Also Jerry is a master plumber and we appreciate his knowledge and experience. Company sent us Stanley to help with a water line for our refrigerator. Had several problems but Stanley was very knowledgeable and informed us of all decisions and you could tell he just lived his job. It was a pricey fix and I respected Stanley more for being situationally aware that my wife and I needed to talk in private. He informed us, gave space and time to decide, and ultimately helped us out with the repairs. Others in management were very helpful too. Overall great experience

5 star service from Edgar who had to come do a second inspection after the home warranty company did not properly calibrate the unit. He was able to get the unit running smoother and provide great documentation for when I need to call the warranty company.

Andrew was on time, determined the flange needed to be replaced, gave us the quote and scope of work, and made the repairs. He explained how the placement was off, and that it appeared to have been like that since construction (21 years ago when we built).
Now we have a new flange, installed correctly, and ready for the new toilet!

Had an issue after a recent servicing and called for help. I don't know who the woman was that I spoke with in the phone but she was empathetic and very kind. She did what she could to make sure someone could come out same day and was able to find someone even though it was Labor Day weekend! Russ Sapp came yesterday 8/18/25. He was prompt, very courteous, explained what he was doing with taking pictures of our AC unit and what areas of the AC unit needed attention. He didn’t rush. He spent time answering our many questions. He gave us options and gave us price quotes on the spot for each service we had asked about or that he suggested. He had a sense of humor as I said to him “I take it Sadie approved of you?” I took that from the commercials saying if Sadie doesn’t like the person, they’re not hired. I’d ask for Russ again. He has an A+ rating.

Bobby Smith is great at explaining the options I have with my AC and Heater. He also let me know about the maintenance plan which is going to be great for me so I can always keep up to date with the AC and the heater. Also I didn't know that you did plumbing and he said I could get plumbing work done too so I am going to do that right away. I liked the photos that were taken to explain the situation on where I am at with the unit. All in all it was the best technician experience I have had since becoming a home owner in 2010.
