Another company messed up our AC and refused to come fix it. We made a call very late in the day to Goettl and they sent a technician out after hours to restore our air-conditioning unit. Our technician, Craig, went above and beyond to identify the issue, clearly explain the situation to us using pictures, and resolve the issue. I'm extremely impressed by this company's professionalism and dedication to their customers.

Jarod came out this morning around 9:30 to do a 2nd opinion and maintenance inspection of our 2 AC units and water heaters. He was very through and even though his findings pretty much matched the previous maintenance findings of another company, Jarod gave us options. Jarod, along with his boss and with us there via phone, we are able to ask questions and become even more informed on what needs to be addressed. Definitely will be using him again for services.

We had Goettl come do a second opinion from our Home Warranty on our AC unit and they confirmed we did need to replace it but were very professional and did a great job of explaining. Great experience working with Wil as he used the camera snake to pinpoint the blockage in the main sewage line from the house and used the photos and video to confirm our suspicion of exactly what items were responsible for the blockage.
Once we knew how deep the issues were, he was able to clearly go over the repair options and quickly got the work scheduled.
Obviously, no one wants to have to deal with unexpected plumbing problems. But the ability to clearly see the problem and understand the size of the project BEFORE the digging starts makes it easier to know that you’re making the right decision upfront.
Goettl is my go to from now on for preventative maintenance and fixing problems.

Wil and Jay were both really patient, thorough, and kind when draining the water heater. They explained what we should be watching for and how our water was at the time. They found one of the pieces connected to the water heater that wasn’t working properly and were able to fix it in the same day. They were knowledgeable about the water heater, explained what we needed, and tested our water as well! Wil explained how calcium build up can affect pipes. Also, Jay and Wil were open to answering all of our questions regarding plumbing and water. They were open and able to give in detail that all the faucets and water was running well in the house. I was having a water heater issue. Brent was dispatched and we were both in for a long day. The issue was far worse than expected:( He was patient, explained everything, did what he could to keep the price down, and called in reinforcement (Jason). They were there ALL day. Water heater is now up to code and will no longer cause issues. Highly recommend!

I heard the commercials on the radio and they pulled at my heart strings with the holding the flashlight for his dad and later going into the same business. The technician, Wyatt, was knowledgeable about the drain clog problem, offered a solution (first snaking and then hydro jetting when the snake didn’t clear it), and got the work done efficiently. Plumbing costs have gotten way out of hand, but Goettl had a special online offer that made it more reasonable so it makes sense to check their website for discounts.

It turned out my thermostat was bad he replaced that but in addition he found another problem that would have been an issue soon. He saved me money in the long run. I recommend Goettl highly. The A/C in our attic began to drip water through our ceiling. I called Goettl A/C and Plumbing Repair around noon and their man Christian was at my house in about three hours. He quickly found that our unit's condenser drains were clogged. He cleared all the drains and cleaned the drain pans.

Cristian was very courteous and informative. He was not in a rush, thank God, as the system took about 20 minutes or so before it showed signs that something was wrong. He wasn't getting feed back that something was wrong. I am so glad he was not in a big rush to just get in and get out. Goettl was amazing I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday and they came out on Monday since they had an opening. Wil did a great job, very friendly, he knew exactly what was causing my slow drain. Fixed it quickly. Then checked to make sure everything else was in working condition. I will definitely call them if I have any other issues.

My A/C unit went out so we decided to go with Goettl A/C and plumbing. There was a clear line of communication and they were out to us within the hour! Cristian Augilar was very informative and a great guy to talk to. He walked me through what was wrong and explained everything with detail even showing me the volt readings and answered all my questions. Was a fast fix and I'm happy to have A/C agian! I will definitely be using them in the future. Thank you Cristian and think you Goettl!
Three years ago, I hired Goettl to install four REME Halos, one in each of our four AC units. The entire process was a disaster. Now that I have worked with other AC companies, I understand many things. First of all, they charged me an arm and a leg (literally 3 times what another well-known company charged me). Second, it took them 6 visits to install them. First, they tried to install a different brand even though I specifically said REME Halos. I had to call them to have them come back and replace them with the proper ones. Second, they were falling out of the A/C units and had to come back to repair them. Now, almost three years later, I found out from another HVAC company that 3 of the 4 were not installed properly. You can see in the pictures that the pictures show the airflow is supposed to go a certain way, and they were not installed properly. It is clear that the company had no clue what they were doing. In addition, they never registered the REME Halos, so we were unable to get them repaired when they stopped working before the 3 years. The entire process turned me off from the company. Also, every time they said they were coming, it was almost 2 hours later that they arrived. I think technicians were coming from San Antonio. I had originally chosen Goettl because they purchased Dayton years ago, and I had been using them ever since I lived in Austin. I incorrectly assumed I would be getting the same level of service, but I was wrong. I had another friend who used them. They did a ton of damage to her AC vents, and then told her it would be $50,000 to fix it. Absurd. I would stay away from this company.
Tib and his son Raul were amazing to work with. They went above and beyond to fix our issue. From the time we called Goettl to the time they left our house with the job completed was three hours. Amazing time if you ask me. Thanks, Goettl!

Brent came out today I thought my water softener was broken. But I think the eclipse or the bad storm we had last night goofed up. So now it's fixed. There was nothing wrong with it just needed to add 100 pounds of salt. It's a great water softener! 100% recommend Goettl.

Great experience with Goettl! Scheduled AC repair online and got text updates quickly after. I was out of town when this repair had to happen. I was able to leave instructions for the tech with dispatcher and everything was done exactly as I asked. Scheduling/service are top notch. They got a tech over early when a spot opened in the schedule. Christian was awesome! He called to let me know when he arrived and diagnosed the issue, sent pictures and made the fix right then at my direction. Tough thing to handle from out of town but Christian made it so easy.

08/08/24 I normally do not write any reviews but Cobi is THEE BEST Technician I have experienced using for my HVAC service. In my personal opinion if you have the option of having this tech dispatched for any of your HVAC needs you will most definitely be more than satisfied and reassured. This is my second time contacting this company which I saw did not have the best in reviews but am certainly grateful to have had this technician resolve my issue. Again I will state that Cobi is VERY meticulous with outstanding attention to detail and cannot say enough about him. The smallest things make the biggest difference for him. I don’t have the ability to compensate him but he is most definitely worthy of any compensation that reflects all that he has done and continues to do.

Matt, the tech at Goettl, was proficient at providing us a free estimate of 2 new water heaters. He analyzed our kitchen and bathrooms to make sure these water heaters could handle our demand . And in future both water heaters will be handling household demand. We are very happy we chose Goettl.
I intend on posting a review about this company and the work they did for my mother. Before I do that, I would like to pivot and speak about one of the company employees who, in my opinion, went above and beyond what he could have done. Jarod Wallquist exemplifies the term "Service Before Self." Mr Wallquist went out of his way to make sure that my mother’s needs were met. He came to my mother's home and explained every detail of the problem she was dealing with as well as the solution to that problem. A new system had to be ordered and installed in my mother's home as the old system was 25 years old and was on its last leg. Mr. Wallquist made sure that my mother was supplied with temporary cooling stations in her home until the new was installed. He assured my mother and I that the new system would be installed on Tuesday (08/06/24). A team of technicians arrived early Tuesday morning and installed my mother's new unit. They made sure that she completely understood everything about the system. When I called and checked on her and the new system, she was very pleased. The company provided great service. Mr Wallquist gave his word and then honored it. Mr. Wallquist showed himself to be a man of great integrity. He said what he was going to do, and then he did what he said he was going to do. Thank you, Mr. Wallquist not only for your service but for keeping your word.

Left plastic trash by outside unit, left sensor trash in hallway closet. He even left a sensor plugged into the wall in my dining room?

My A/C decided to quit on July 4. As is typical in Texas in July the temp was over 100 degrees. Goettl was able to schedule a service appt the same day. Jarrod and Jemaris arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly. They explained the issues and told me what I could do to keep everything running efficiently. Goettle has treated me right since my first call to them 3 years ago. If some reason they are unable to make it they call you the day before or early the morning of so you are not waiting. The reps seemed to have been trained properly because each time one has came out I learn something new that I didn't know about my system. Most recently, Christian S. came out and thoroughly explained why things were happening and provided a resolution to help. He also, in my opinion, went above what he was supposed to do to try and help me resolve the problem without paying an arm and leg for it. I would definitely recommend Goettle and their staff to do a job.

A hot water system leak is painful no matter when it occurs but on a national holiday it’s a stressor all its own. I called Goettl at noon and they worked me in. Wil Howington got here at 5 and had the leaking line at the recirculation pump cut out and replaced in an hour. Outstanding job and incredibly nice guy. I’m definitely a fan.

We’ve used Goettl for a few years now, and have had great experiences with their techs. They are always knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous. Special shoutout to Craig, who just last night helped fix an issue with our unit. Even though it had been a long day of service calls for him, he was awesome all around.

Cobi was excellent today with a spring AC tuneup - very thorough and detailed in explanations of services and potential issues. First tech we’ve had in 20 years point out that there is no insulation in the attic!
Craig Norris recently check my ac units. He thoroughly cleaned the condensers, checked the system in the attic, made sure the cooling was working correctly through out the house. Best work I’ve had in a long time!! And he was friendly and polite.

I chose to reach out to Goettl, based on reviews, to diagnose short cycling of my AC unit. I called one evening at roughly 6pm expecting to possibly get on their schedule in the coming days. To my surprise they offered to come out that evening! Within an hour of my call, Jackson showed up to diagnose the issue. (Side note: Great automated text message system to alert you when a tech is assigned, their name, picture, and real time tracking of their location.)
Jackson spent a good 1-2 hours diagnosing our issue, was very clear in communicating what he was finding, and clear in suggesting a fix. All in all, a great first impression using this business for the first time!

I have been using Goettl for a few years now. Before Goettl, I tried having other AC repair companies come out. The other companies tried to get me to replace my 2-year old unit completely while others caused more problems that I started with. Goettl has been great and provided amazing service. Craig was assigned to my most recent visit and he did a phenomal job explaining issues he identified and worked with me to figure out the best course of action to take. He spent time to explain some of the more complicated issues with me, along with displaying images he took of each part and problem. The great part was he was able to get fixes in for both issues and the system is working great. Thanks Craig!

He is very professional and knowledgeable and explained why a repair was needed in words that both my husband and I could understand. This is my first use of Goettl and Wil makes a great ambassador. He was cheerful, knowledgeable, and quickly solved my water heater problem. I was impressed with how honestly diagnosed the issue , and the recommendations.

Mr. Will is knowledgeable, professional, timely. Goettl provided an accurate assessment of a shower faucet inner wall shower valve replacement process and pricing. They provided a standard free second opinion since I had already paid for a first quote from another company. If you have ongoing or multiple HVAC and plumbing needs they offer services for both, and a killer deal on a membership plan that eliminates all diagnostic service fees within terms of the membership. Their telephone customer service is top shelf, effective, and overall the experience has been great. I had a problem with what was seemingly a clog in my kitchen sink and called Goettl for plumbing assistance. They were quick to respond and sent someone out the next day. He explained the issue to me and was able to fix the clog and also provide options for a much larger issue that he discovered when snaking the main lines. Cobi did an amazing job. We had a new heating and air conditioning system installed by another company last year. We immediately had issues and they did not honor the warranty. We had multiple companies come out claiming there wasn't anything wrong. Kobe was able to diagnose the system within minutes and was able to find all the issues that were causing the system to not properly function. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and proficient. The sales manager Chris was completely understanding and empathetic to our situation and was able to help us get everything done without us having to pay an arm and a leg. I would recommend this company to anyone I know.

Brent was here today to take a look at my water heater. Will had done a great job with install along with the HVAC crew, Fernando, I think, 1 month ago. All drains in the house backed up at 2am on New Year’s Day, Goettl was at my house by 8am. Wil was amazing, had all the right tools, fixed what he could and explained everything. I enjoyed learning from him. Helped with a few minor, but annoying issues too. He even wore booties before entering the house. Have had 2 other plumbers come later to assess the longer term problem and none of them had the right tools. Cant recommend Wil & Goettl enough! The dog & flashlight he left behind was a nice touch too!

Goettl Services tech Craig just completed installation of sensors for the new Sadie plan at my home. He was professional and polite and did a great job servicing our system. Goettl did a great job cleaning out our drain. Matt Sloan was very nice and took out the U-joint and cleaned it up. A different company a few years ago just put granules down the drain. It did not last but a couple of days. I was very pleased with Goettl and Matt.

I explained what was going on and he knew right away what the problem was. He also checked out other things to make sure our unit was good. We had Jarod Wallquist come out today because I had water leaking from what I thought was from the outside air conditioning unit. It turned out it was left over pipes from an older unit we replaced around 7 years ago (it was Not Goettl). Jarod was very professional and figured out the problem right away.
We then had Jay Jenkins come out today and fix the leak. He was very professional and did a great job as well! The leak probably started because of a freeze several weeks ago and then got worse. I noticed that our water bill was a lot higher . I have always been very happy with Goettl. They even came out on the same day that I called them.

He was prompt, thorough and accommodating by going above and beyond to leave and return with the needed parts to allow completion of a water valve replacement today to accommodate my new refrigerator being hooked up tomorrow. Joshua was our technician and was fantastic! Joshua came out to diagnose our HVAC for a noise it was making and was able to (after some examining) find and fix our rare issue. My experience so far with Goettl has been great. Brent Sloan was awesome from the beginning through the end of my new attic water heaters being installed. We had some AC issues on a hot summer evening and called Goettl who came out right away despite being just after hours. Chris Rios was our technician, and he was thorough in explaining the situation, walking us through our options, and listening to our needs. He was professional throughout the entire process and managed expectations and timing so we knew what to expect. This is now our go to service provider given the experience we had with Chris. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a trustworthy group.
Jared was very professional and thorough. He was also able to arrive earlier than scheduled which worked out very well. He provided several options to fix the issue with the HVAC unit along with prices for repairs. He also came with gifts, a flashlight and a stuffed toy Sadie dog. A pleasant surprise! Still going over prices and will decide what to do soon since my AC could fail any day.

Our technician, Brent Sloan, was prompt, courteous, skilled, and knowledgeable. He worked quickly, efficiently, carefully, and left it very clean. We were looking for someone to fix our AC desperately and we are so glad we found them to replace our AC unit for us. Gustavo was very professional and explained everything in layman’s terms and answered every question I had without losing patience. They were able to come in the day after they gave us an invoice and got the AC running on the same day. They went out of their way to organize the cords and clean the work area much cleaner than it was and when we had some concerns few days after, Ramiro came by as soon as he was available and resolved the matter. There was never a moment where it felt like I was bothering them with any questions I might have. I would definitely recommend them for any AC problems!

On time, efficient, and very courteous team members! Our 2 year old wanted everything to do with the guys helping us from service, sales and install. Each one of them was very patient and kindly engaged with him. Job said it would take 8-9 hours and our brand new furnace/AC, and new insulation was installed in only 6 hours. Awesome job! Gustavo and Ramiro! Anybody use Goettl air conditioning. We got a new a/c unit installed on May 6. The installers said they had to remove the steps that go into the attic but they told me don't worry a professional will come and put them back up. Well they are still on the floor in the garage and every time we call they say we are making a note of this and giving it to a supervisor who will call you back shortly! It never happens! So if you use Goettl be careful!
Was having AC issues and a technician was able to come out the same day we called. Chris Rios did a great job showing and explaining in detail the problems we were experiencing with our unit. In the end, it was best for us to replace the entire unit. A crew was actually able to come out the next day to install the new unit. Juan and Carlos did the installation and did a great job! They were on time and were thorough. Happy with the entire process!
Start to finish the total pros at Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing got us out of an ancient, broken down air conditioning system and into an expertly installed one. I can’t even begin to express how wonderful of an experience we had with this company. Nobody likes to have to unexpectedly replace such an expensive, big part of their home. Goettl made this task as enjoyable and positive as it could be. They listened to what we wanted and what we could afford. They didn’t try to talk us into anything we didn’t need. Their customer service was top notch. Jarod, Ivan, Gustavo, Juan, and Jonny were professional and courteous. They go above and beyond for their clients. They came to assess the problem around 9:00 AM and by 9:30 PM we had an entire new system inside and out!
Have had a great experience with the company so far. Easy time scheduling/rescheduling on my end. And the crew (Joshua and Jared) were super professional and informative, and took their time to inspect my system and make sure everything is in good shape. The things that might need repair in the future they provided estimates on the remaining life and general repair costs associated. And seems like the annual maintenance plan is a good value. Look forward to continuing to use them in the future when something comes up.
We had a decrepit HVAC system in our condo that was dripping. Chris R was the technician that came out to assess our system and couldn't have done a more thorough job. Not only that, he made sure to explain every single detail to ensure myself and my wife were fully aware of the issues we would be facing short and long term. His advice ultimately helped us make the crucial decision to get a brand new system in place - although it was expensive, it was well worth the price! Customer service of Goettl was impeccable from beginning to end. Chris made sure to document everything that needed to be done, Carlos and Juan came the following morning (talk about quick turnarounds too) and installed everything effectively. They were extremely polite, clean and efficient, getting the entire job done in less than a day! I would highly recommend the three of them as well as Goettl to any of my friends and family, as well as all of you reading this. Excellent job.

Fast, same day repairs right before Christmas. Fair pricing. And a fantastic plumber who answered all my questions and stayed until the job was done!
The Goettl team is fantastic! They arrived ahead of schedule and worked on the coldest day of the year to fix several damaged pipes. Everyone from the scheduling team to the plumber was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I’ll definitely work with them again and highly recommend them.

I am having some issues with my foundation so, I wanted to get my plumbing checked to make sure that nothing was leaking. I called and got scheduled for an appointment quickly. The Technician (Lenny Rivera) showed up on time, was professional, and knowledgeable about his work. He performed the service and (thankfully) NO leaking detected! The process was easy and seamless and he even gifted me a cute stuffed dog and a flashlight! Will definitely call if I need service in the future! Highly recommended!

Our Austin location opened in February of 2021 and quickly built a strong reputation with residents. Formerly Dayton Services, we have been part of the community since 1994. With strong local experience and community ties, customers have peace of mind that their HVAC and Plumbing needs will not only be met but their homes and furry family members will be treated with care.
Our team’s level of engagement is very strong: We are family-oriented and respectful, with deep roots in the Austin community and a deep-burning desire to be part of something great.
