RENO, NV, May 8, 2024 – Nevada Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Fireplace Inc. is proud to announce its return as a Platinum Sponsor for the 2024 Pinocchio’s Moms on the Run 5k Walk and 5k/10k Run on Mother’s Day, May 12. 

Founded in 1999, Moms on the Run is the largest race of its kind in Reno, with more than 5,000 participants each year. Founders Barbara and JP Pinocchio started the event after Barbara’s sister, Debra, passed away from breast cancer. The organization has raised more than $6.5 million since its inaugural year, which is used to help offset medical expenses and everyday living expenses of Northern Nevada women diagnosed with breast or gynecological cancer.

My wife is a breast cancer survivor, so this has a personal connection for me and what the Pinocchios have achieved over the years is nothing short of astounding. Our Nevada Heating family is ready to hit the ground running this Mother’s Day and have a great time for a great cause,” says Eric Robnett, operator of Nevada Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Fireplace Inc. 

“With Nevada Heating’s sponsorship, we directly help local women diagnosed with breast or gynecological cancer by paying their rent, mortgage, food, and utility bills while they are in treatment so they can focus on getting well. This relieves so much stress off the women,” says Emily Krummer, executive director of the race.

He gave us a couple of different options to fix or replace the unit with no pressure on us. We decided to get a new water heater installed and he was able to do it the same day. Again, 5⭐️s for no pressure, tricks, unnecessary maintenance suggestions, only relevant recommendations and a detailed invoice WITH PHOTOS AND PRICES. No surprises!!!

Jef came to our house to diagnose why our 22 year-old furnace wouldn't run correctly. He was very courteous and willing to answer my questions with as much detail as I wanted. I never felt like he was trying to sell me more than was needed to get the furnace running again. He explained, with pictures of our furnace's components, what he found when he inspected it. It simply needed a cleaning and routine service which fortunately was not a huge expense.

We ordered a new refrigerator from Lowe’s. When they delivered it, they said they could not install the water line. We were not familiar with plumbers so we asked our neighbor who did the plumbing in his new shower. He said Goettl and he was very happy with the results. I called them they sent out a wonderful servicemen, Gerardo Gonzalez. The builders had used 3/8” pipes and Lowe’s seemed to only have 1/4” connectors. Gerardo solved our problem and we had to get Lowe’s out again the next day to finish the install. We highly recommend Goettl and appreciate the caliber of their staff!

Installation day was when they said it would be. They scheduled the building permit, attended the inspection, and it was on time. We called on a Saturday and thankfully Christian Acosta was the one on call to help us out. Bobby Smith is great at explaining the options I have with my AC and Heater. He also let me know about the maintenance plan which is going to be great for me so I can always keep up to date with the AC and the heater.
