These problems manifest themselves in a variety of ways. Some issues, like the development of a strange sound, may be easy to miss. A furnace that is blowing cool air is a much more obvious sign of trouble, though. Why Might This Happen?

Your furnace may be blowing cold air, or maybe it is just blowing air that isn’t quite as warm as it should be. In either event, you need to get the system back on track if you want to live in the comfort we believe you deserve. Here are a few potential causes of this problem.

Leaky ductwork. Furnaces are forced-air heating systems, and that means that your furnace uses air ducts in order to distribute heated air throughout your home. It is possible that these ducts will pass through unconditioned areas of the house, and if leaks develop in those areas, the ducts may lose some of the heat that they contain. Heat naturally seeks balance, so it will escape the ducts into the cooler surroundings that they pass through.
Thermostat issues. It is possible that the issue stems from the thermostat you use in order to regulate the operation of your furnace. You may have the thermostat set to “on” rather than “auto,” which keeps the fan running even when heat is not being generated. You may also have a thermostat that is registering temperatures incorrectly. Simply changing the settings or having a technician replace a faulty thermostat can solve the problem.
Combustion issues. Most furnaces these days will simply shut down if there is a combustion issue, as this can pose a serious safety risk. However, if your system does run while failing to generate heat, either due to such combustion issues or, in electric furnaces, problems with the heating element, then you can expect cool air to be the final product.

Goettl is not cheap, although their service visit is very inexpensive, their quotes are almost always considerably higher. The service from an employee like Gilbert, however, is the sole reason why I would even consider entertaining a higher cost.

I run an Airbnb with 5 rooms in my home, and my tankless water heater suddenly went out. In my case, this was an emergency, especially with the weather getting colder. Goettl ensured that a technician arrived within a few hours, and Juan Gil showed up in good spirits and ready to solve the puzzle.

Like most people, I typically search for the cheapest service I can find, and I end up having other plumbers come out to check out issues with my tankless water heater, who run their mouths, upsell parts (that don't seem to be causing the problem), and generally don't really know enough about tankless water heaters. This time, I decided to go with an experienced company with a good reputation, and I am glad that I did - Goettl's prices are very reasonable and worth the service they provide.

Juan, was very knowledgeable, patient, and persistent. Even better, he was careful and humble enough to acknowledge that he didn't know everything and checked with the manufacturer at every step. Juan spent a great deal of time helping me diagnose the problem (which always seems impossible to ascertain quickly with machines like tankless water heaters), and went above and beyond to ensure that my guests and I had hot water tonight.

Juan never got frustrated; he handled everything carefully and made sure to clean up after himself when he was done. If I can have Juan take care of all of my plumbing or AC issues in the future, I will. And if you're reading reviews to decide whether to call Goettl for your issue, I would encourage you to trust their service and experience. My experience with Juan was definitely memorable.

We ordered a new refrigerator from Lowe’s. When they delivered it, they said they could not install the water line. We were not familiar with plumbers so we asked our neighbor who did the plumbing in his new shower. He said Goettl and he was very happy with the results. I called them they sent out a wonderful servicemen, Gerardo Gonzalez. The builders had used 3/8” pipes and Lowe’s seemed to only have 1/4” connectors. Gerardo solved our problem and we had to get Lowe’s out again the next day to finish the install. We highly recommend Goettl and appreciate the caliber of their staff!
