Pop quiz time — what is the single best thing that you can do to keep your air conditioning system in great working condition? If you answered “schedule routine air conditioning maintenance,” then you are correct. Mostly, anyway. Yes, scheduling routine air conditioning maintenance in North Las Vegas, NV is absolutely vital in the quest for a truly great home cooling experience. That being said, you’d be overlooking a very important step if you thought that this was all that is required of you.
While the bulk of your air conditioning maintenance procedures must be completed by trained professionals, there is one specific task that you yourself should be completing regularly. That is changing your air filter as needed. Typically, this means doing so every 1-3 months — though many factors will influence the situation and regularity in your home. You are going to have to pay for your comfort when the heat of summer strikes, but you should not have to overpay. If you leave a dirty filter in your air conditioner, though, chances are that you are going to be doing just that. Increased airflow resistance will force the system to work harder than it should have to in cooling your home, and your energy bills will reflect that.
- Enjoy better comfort. When your air conditioner is struggling just to force cooled air throughout your home, it is not going to function at peak performance levels. That will leave your comfort to suffer. The areas furthest from the air handler may not cool down as much as those closer, and your air quality may drop off as well. Very clogged filters can create so much airflow resistance that it is easier to force air around the filter than through it.
- Enjoy better reliability. Your air conditioner should go through a full cooling cycle before shutting down. If your air conditioner has a very dirty air filter causing it to overheat, though, then your system is likely going to wind up short cycling. That means that it will start up, run only briefly, and then shut back down. This increased strain can compromise the system, and increase the risk of damages.

Was very pleased with Goettl and Matthew Lopez. They came into our home and looked at our system and let us know what was wrong with it. They were not pushy or demanding, but opposite they were caring. We had several techs come to our house to fix our issues but they did not fix it. Matthew showed his frustration because they did not fix our issues. Matthew explained what needed to be done to make our unit run more efficient. We thank him for his expertise. Will use them again.

The service we received was done in a professional manner. First, Ryan explained the cost in a detailed manner prior to repairs being done. Secondly, he addressed the cost increase due to a broken part that was not visible until removal of the toilet. The gentleman that arrived for the assessment and repair of my AC (Mr. Jorge Gutierrez) was outstanding. His Customer Service was top notch, beyond just being friendly. He explained everything that he was doing and before conducting any tests, he would explain what is ideal and what are the limits regarding what he was looking at. Beyond my initial call, I had some follow up questions which he was more than happy to answer and explain. Upon further review, there were some additional issues found (not the “go in for oil change, now you need a new transmission” type of issue), but which helped to clarify the situation and for which he provided several suggestions on how we could move forward. I am an extremely cheap person but my family’s health and well being is first and foremost. And when you’ve got two girls and a wife who absolutely hate the heat (and here in Texas we get plenty of that), their happiness is my happiness (in more ways than one). So with Mr. Gutierrez’ explanations and suggestions in front of me, I made a decision which despite the cost, I feel comfortable and satisfied with. I’ve got his Contact info as well as his Supervisor (Carlos), so if anything comes up in the future or if there’s additional projects I’d like to have done in my home, I’ll definitely be requesting him personally.

I was scared and totally unprepared for this fast escalating water leak. It was terrifying. Ryan and Kaelen came and patiently and thoroughly explained what was happening. What was the procedure to locate the issue, what they would need to do to assess and repair the issue and as they exposed the problem they showed me what was happening each time I came out. They educated me fully so I will be able to handle any future issues confidently. They confirmed the leak was resolved and showed me how to use the new turn off if needed in the future. They were fast and completely removed all signs of the repair. I am so grateful to have 2 young men of such professional expertise show up and will not hesitate to continue using Goettl.

I had a leak previously repaired by a different company that was still leaking, so I decided to call Goettl, to get a pro to repair it. I was seriously impressed, the leak was repaired and it looks and works perfectly. Rudy came by on a Friday and dug up the pipes, identified where it was leaking and came back Saturday morning to repair it. The repair was truly a work of art. I visited the Goettl website and chatted with Zayne, who was extremely helpful. He was able to schedule a same-day service call to help with our issue. Peter M. arrived within the hour and quickly diagnosed an issue with our AC. He explained the problems in great detail and was extremely professional and polite. Because we still had an issue with a leak that was not coming from the AC, Peter was able to get another member of the Goettl team to come out and help diagnose that issue! Overall great experience with Goettl, so far! Hopefully the leak will be found soon!

Goettl sent Ryan to fix my clogged drain. He arrived. On time and cleared my drain quickly. Advised me of a break that was In the cities right-of-way. And sent a video confirming his findings. All for less than $100. Glad I chose Goettl!

This is the type of quality service that everyone needs! Billy went above and beyond in helping me discover what was going on with my AC unit. He not only provided the service that I asked for, but also looked more into the issue to make sure that everything was functioning the way it’s supposed to. Had Jesus come out and inspect my AC unit after it stopped working and he really hit the mark on creating a friendly professional environment and helped me through this stressful process and to choose the correct path that worked best for me. Everyone from the technicians to the crew who came out and installed my new unit were absolutely incredible and left no trace of them being here working. Darren guerra was great, gave us several options and explained in full detail what needed to be done. Very neat and clean in his work. And finished the job in a timely manner. Very happy overall with everything from start to finish. I did think the price was a little high though but considering it was getting late and didn't have much options.

We were hearing hammering between the walls. Tyler came out to my home to perform an evaluation. After doing several tests he quickly found the issue. We discussed several options. I ultimately opted to have the problem fixed to avoid damage to other appliances. He completed the work in a timely manner.
Peter helped a lot with explaining the root cause of our AC unit not functioning as well as it should be, and explaining why he recommended the fix/parts that he did. Took plenty of time to troubleshoot what was actually going on as opposed to just treating the symptoms, and explained in an easy-to-understand way what he found and how to fix it. He also gave good advice about simple DIY maintenance we can do moving forward to keep the system healthy! Goettl as a whole was very easy to work with and I was able to book an appointment as early as the day following my phone call. Great service from start to finish!
