GOETTL AND KRNV NEWS LAUNCH “4 DEGREE GUARANTEE” TO GIVE BACK TO LOCAL COMMUNITY
Every month, the “4 Degree Guarantee” will support a local nonprofit organization in Reno and Sparks.
RENO, Nev., February 5, 2024 — Goettl Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing—a leading HVAC and plumbing company in Reno—is thrilled to unveil its brand new “4 Degree Guarantee” partnership with KRNV News 4, marking a significant collaboration that will not only bring a bit of fun and chance to weather predictions but also contribute to the local Reno and Sparks communities.
Starting in this month, the Weather Authority team at KRNV Channel 4 will engage in the “4 Degree Guarantee” challenge daily during the 4 p.m. news broadcast. The team will predict tomorrow’s high temperature at the Reno Tahoe Airport, and if their prediction is within 4 degrees, Goettl and News 4 will make a generous donation to a selected nonprofit organization for that month.
For the month of January, Goettl has chosen to support The Children’s Cabinet, a Nevada nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical services and resources to children and families in need. This initiative reflects Goettl’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community and supporting organizations that make a difference.

We had no hot water and water was leaking out of the tank. I called Goettl at 10:00 and by 1:00, a tech arrived and confirmed that my hot water heater was toast. He put in a call and the company sent Mark to install a new hwh. Both men were extremely courteous and professional.
By the end of the day, I had hot water and Mark left no sign of a mess behind.

Gilbert did a really great job for us. He did maintenance service on our HVAC system. He also checked our attic and found we were low on insulation. He explained why we should have more insulation. He had me talk to his supervisor, Cody about insulation and that Goettl can install insulation. I plan to add insulation, but not at this exact time. Excellent service. Get there AC / Heating monthly plan to check your planning and heating and cooling twice a year worth it. The price says are a little high, but I guess it's better to fix something before it breaks down.

Gilbert is exactly what you want in a tech. He was patient in listening to what my perceived situation is with all the context I could provide while also doing a fresh analysis uninhibited. This allowed him to corrobote some aspects of what I knew and what other companies claimed but also correct some other aspects that were misinterpreted or incorrect altoge. Add in personability, reasonability, and hard work and I could be happier.
Goettl is not cheap, although their service visit is very inexpensive, their quotes are almost always considerably higher. The service from an employee like Gilbert, however, is the sole reason why I would even consider entertaining a higher cost.

Jesus came up with a plan that will fix a problem caused by another hvac company that has cost me a lot in electric bills. Goettl installed a new HVAC system for us. We have two units and they replaced one 18 months ago and the second one last week. And since I have their membership, I was told there would be no trip charge Clayton Purvis was such an angel. He reached down and turned it off, and apparently I had not turned it around enough times I felt like an idiot and told him he can go back to the office and share with his coworkers what this old woman did. Today, Rodell did a thorough clean-out of our bathroom sink drains, including sending the camera down to check for build up out to the main connection to the sewer. This was included in our membership with no extra charge. He and his partner also found the mystery leak in the guest bathroom toilet and replaced the guts and seals. The thing I liked the best was his advice about maintenance and how that little hole in the sink is a real drain that also needs flushing out by letting the sink fill up periodically. We ordered a new refrigerator from Lowe’s. When they delivered it, they said they could not install the water line. We were not familiar with plumbers so we asked our neighbor who did the plumbing in his new shower. He said Goettl and he was very happy with the results. I called them they sent out a wonderful servicemen, Gerardo Gonzalez. The builders had used 3/8” pipes and Lowe’s seemed to only have 1/4” connectors. Gerardo solved our problem and we had to get Lowe’s out again the next day to finish the install. We highly recommend Goettl and appreciate the caliber of their staff!

This is how a service/install company should work. Price was exactly as quoted and was very fair, comparing to multiple others. They never tried to add on extras like all the others did. Installation day was when they said it would be. They scheduled the building permit, attended the inspection, and it was on time. He got us set up with a window unit for the time being and. Fast forward to today, Wednesday, and Christian and Ian came to install a new blower motor for us. Both gentleman were wonderful! They kept us informed of the process and what to expect as they replaced the parts. Our house is already cooling back down and I have Christian and Ian to thank for that! They did inform us of a military discount, which was very helpful, and they insured the entire process was as streamlined as it could be. If we ever need assistance in the future, I will be calling and asking for Christian and Ian because I know they will ensure that our HVAC system has been treated with the highest quality of service. They also brought our son an adorable plushie of Sadie, the Goettle mascot, and a flashlight. Its comforting to know that when Christian and Ian are on the job, you'll be taken care of as if they were working on their own homes.

Thank you Jerry for two plumbing jobs well done. Jerry cleaned out pipes from bathroom sink which were draining slowly. Jerry showed before and after pictures from his camera and what a big difference. Sink draining much better now.
Jerry also noticed our water pressure was low after flushing toilet then trying to wash hands in bathroom sink which were so he suggested a new pressure regulator as we have had a new better water conditioning system installed. We now have the best water pressure even when using a shower and kitchen sink faucet at the same time. Also Jerry is a master plumber and we appreciate his knowledge and experience. Will definitely call Goettl again when a plumber is needed.

Company sent us Stanley to help with a water line for our refrigerator. Had several problems but Stanley was very knowledgeable and informed us of all decisions and you could tell he just lived his job. It was a pricey fix and I respected Stanley more for being situationally aware that my wife and I needed to talk in private. He informed us, gave space and time to decide, and ultimately helped us out with the repairs. Others in management were very helpful too. Overall great experience
