What to Do If Your Water Pressure Is Low
We’ve all been there. You know that there is a problem with something, but it’s not really that bad of a problem. And you really don’t need another headache at this point. So why not just ignore the problem and deal with it later? Well, the answer is usually the same. If you do choose to ignore the problem, you’re going to be dealing with a bigger problem later on. It’s never in your best interest to let it slide.
This is definitely the case with low water pressure in your home. If you have any such concern with your plumbing, then you absolutely need to let a member of our team know right away. There are a lot of different reasons why you may experience low water pressure, and you’re always going to want a professional resolving the issue before things get out of hand. It May Be a Problem with the Fixture Itself
If you just have trouble with one particular fixture in your home, then that fixture itself could be to blame. This is something of a best-case scenario, of course, and there is no guarantee that you’ll have such luck—if you can really call it that in this situation. It’s worth considering before you jump to any worst-case scenarios, though.
Inspect the fixture quickly on your own. Make sure that adjustable shower heads aren’t stuck between settings, and that there is no blockage due to something like hard water. You can likely clear this out or soak the fixture in that case. If there’s no obvious sign of trouble, it could still be the fixture, but it’s best to call in a pro at this point.
It May Be a Supply Line Leak
If there is nothing wrong with the fixture that you can find, and if the leak is still localized to a single spot, then chances are that you’re dealing with a problem in a supply line. More specifically, with a leak in a supply line. And if that’s the case, then your problems may just be getting started. Why? Because even “small” leaks cause big problems when they’re given the opportunity.
Consider the fact that damp conditions can lead to problems like wood rot, water staining, and even the growth of biological pollutants. Now consider that all of this can be avoided when you schedule plumbing repairs at the first sign of trouble. The choice is obvious, isn’t it?
The Whole-House Scenario
This is the big one. If you notice that there is a drop in water pressure throughout your entire home, then chances are that you are dealing with a more major issue. This could be a leak in your main water line. It could be a leak in the municipal water line supplying your entire area, in which case your neighbors would likely be affected, too. Ask around, and if the issue is local to your home or there are signs of a main water line break, pick up the phone ASAP!

Rudy Flores yes, came to do maintenance on my heat for the winter and discovered mold or something growing in the ductwork . He also found a gas leak so he was prompt and he was thorough and respectful of a senior citizen. Our AC went down for the upstairs unit. We have a maintenance plan through another company but they do not provide 24/7 service. I called Goettl and I am so happy I did. Jesus Gloria was out within a few hours. I was called to confirm the appointment window. Then texted with the photo attached so I would know who my technician was and the link to track their arrival. Jesus was so professional and explained everything to make sure I understood. He took photos and videos to make sure I could see what he was talking about. Then showed me the photos after the repairs. I am so impressed with this experience. The company very clearly communicates how important customer satisfaction is to them. A+++ service and Jesus did an amazing job. I will definitely consider their maintenance plan in the future which also includes routine plumbing inspections and flushing for the same price other companies charge for HVAC services alone.

Based on my experience with their technician Jordan, I HIGHLY recommend Goettl! Jordan saved us THOUSANDS of dollars in repair or replacement! We had received quotes from our (now-previous) HVAC company to repair or replace our 10 YO HVAC system. Today, Rodell did a thorough clean-out of our bathroom sink drains, including sending the camera down to check for build up out to the main connection to the sewer. This was included in our membership with no extra charge. He and his partner also found the mystery leak in the guest bathroom toilet and replaced the guts and seals. The thing I liked the best was his advice about maintenance and how that little hole in the sink is a real drain that also needs flushing out by letting the sink fill up periodically. We ordered a new refrigerator from Lowe’s. When they delivered it, they said they could not install the water line. We were not familiar with plumbers so we asked our neighbor who did the plumbing in his new shower. He said Goettl and he was very happy with the results. I called them they sent out a wonderful servicemen, Gerardo Gonzalez. The builders had used 3/8” pipes and Lowe’s seemed to only have 1/4” connectors. Gerardo solved our problem and we had to get Lowe’s out again the next day to finish the install. We highly recommend Goettl and appreciate the caliber of their staff!

Installation day was when they said it would be. They scheduled the building permit, attended the inspection, and it was on time. He was knowledgeable, kind, super patient with our very curious child, and did absolutely everything in his power to get our AC back on. Unfortunately the blower motor was toast. He got us set up with a window unit for the time being and. Fast forward to today, Wednesday, and Christian and Ian came to install a new blower motor for us. Both gentleman were wonderful! They kept us informed of the process and what to expect as they replaced the parts. Our house is already cooling back down and I have Christian and Ian to thank for that! They did inform us of a military discount, which was very helpful, and they insured the entire process was as streamlined as it could be. If we ever need assistance in the future, I will be calling and asking for Christian and Ian because I know they will ensure that our HVAC system has been treated with the highest quality of service. They also brought our son an adorable plushie of Sadie, the Goettle mascot, and a flashlight. Its comforting to know that when Christian and Ian are on the job, you'll be taken care of as if they were working on their own homes.

Thank you Jerry for two plumbing jobs well done. Jerry cleaned out pipes from bathroom sink which were draining slowly. Jerry showed before and after pictures from his camera and what a big difference. Sink draining much better now.
Jerry also noticed our water pressure was low after flushing toilet then trying to wash hands in bathroom sink which were so he suggested a new pressure regulator as we have had a new better water conditioning system installed. We now have the best water pressure even when using a shower and kitchen sink faucet at the same time. Also Jerry is a master plumber and we appreciate his knowledge and experience. Will definitely call Goettl again when a plumber is needed.

Company sent us Stanley to help with a water line for our refrigerator. Had several problems but Stanley was very knowledgeable and informed us of all decisions and you could tell he just lived his job. It was a pricey fix and I respected Stanley more for being situationally aware that my wife and I needed to talk in private. He informed us, gave space and time to decide, and ultimately helped us out with the repairs. Others in management were very helpful too. Overall great experience
