Had tech Adrian Silva come out to perform our yearly HVAC check and he arrived on time and was extremely thorough in his assessment of our system and home insulation condition. He did report the insulation being low and even went as far as honoring a quote we received 9 months ago even with the cost of materials going up and the price per sq ft of insulation now being almost double. Thankfully our builder honored the previous warranty and will be doing this work but we do appreciate Goettl and we never hesitate to contact them when ever we have issues w/ plumbing or HVAC.

I used to use this company for annual HVAC maintenance.
The last time I dealt with them, their technician showed me photos of very dusty coils in my system in the attic and tried to sell me a $700 service.
Curiously, when they left that day, they did not include those photos in the list of photos of my system that day.
I took it upon myself to perform the maintenance myself. The first red flag was when I saw that the sealing material around the coils was not damaged or recently replaced. This told me the technician didn’t even check what was supposed to be checked.
I then opened and, sure enough, my coils were quite clean. Not even remotely close to the image I had been shown when the service was being sold to me.
I tried to contact management about my issue, but nobody could make time to talk with me and it seems like this practice is fully okay.
So if you don’t mind being intentionally lied to, great company. Because apparently fraud is a company value.

Service Technician, Chris Beers, with Goettl HVAC provided outstanding service from start to finish. Not only was he able to make it out same day for an unknown heat related issue. Throughout his time at my home, he was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain what was going on with our system and what needed to be done. Chris worked efficiently, was respectful of our home, and made sure everything was running perfectly before he left. It’s rare to find a technician who combines knowledgeable expertise with such great customer service as well. Daniel from Goettl came by this morning to inspect and tune our heating system. He was on time, very courteous and knew exactly what he was doing. He facilitated the entire process as well as answering some questions for me regarding system components.
Extremely disappointing day. Had a new ac system installed. Had to school ur installers on how to do there job? Only half the work was done. Now have to waste another day or two of frustration and experience more stress as I have zero confidence in the quality of service and communication from management.

They sent someone out to my house to investigate a smell free of charge. The technician’s name was Kevin, he was very polite, professional, and quick, and did not try to oversell me on anything which I feel happens more often than not with HVAC/plumbing. He even suggested a home remedy to try first before any paid cleaning. For this reason if I do end up having to do a paid service I will be going with this company.

Update2: Goetti set up the building permit appointment with the county, and attended the inspection, which past with no issues. Other companies that I have dealt with have not done so much. Furthermore, I did get multiple estimates, and all the other companies had convenient add-on's which proved by the inspection were a unnecessary expense, thus making Geotti price the lowest and most honest of them all. By the way, the heater and a/c have work to perfection and are both very quiet.
Follow up: A home inspection showed a small issue with my new furnace, so I called Goettl. Next day service and they determined there was an issue with the furnace they installed. Two days later (Christmas Eve) a brand-new furnace was installed. No debate, new questions asked, no cost to me, they insisted. This was quit the contrast to what I experience with other HVAC companies I have dealt with in my forty years in Reno.

Mark & Jan came and installed a water softener unit at my house. Both of them are two top notch technicians. Mark & Jan did a awesome job.

Jeremy came to do the inspection at the house and he was very informative and even offered helpful tips on how to keep the unit running at its best.
Taylor explained everything to my mother about the service Goettl provided. She is older and doesn’t always understand/remember details. He was so very good w her and spoke to her at a level she could process. What a relief to find a company w employees who actually care about their company service.

He is a very pleasant and friendly person and I would not hesitate to have him do all of our hvac inspections. He was very thorough and even checked our outside a/c unit and changed the Capacitor.
Benton was equally pleasant and very helpful on the phone and we booked the insulation install for the following week.
I would not hesitate to recommend Goettl. Customer service counts a great deal to me and Goettl really takes care of it's customers.

I contracted Goettl to replace my old water heater with a new tankless system. The work was scheduled in a timely manner and was completed in only a few hours (with little impact to my gas and water availability). The craftsmanship is perfect and the system ran flawlessly right from the initial activation. The technicians, Hector Lopez and Caleb Anzalone-Fawcett were polite, efficient and professional. Gary Eisenhauer supervised the operation and also used the work to train the technicians. He ensured all work was done properly and is certainly a very seasoned professional! Goettl did an amazing job! Tim is an amazing plumber and puts care behind his work. Replacing a sewer line is a hard job but he made us feel comfortable with the work and the service was spectacular!

We had no hot water and water was leaking out of the tank. I called Goettl at 10:00 and by 1:00, a tech arrived and confirmed that my hot water heater was toast. He put in a call and the company sent Mark to install a new hwh. Both men were extremely courteous and professional.
By the end of the day, I had hot water and Mark left no sign of a mess behind.

Jacob was great! He called ahead, was very professional and helpful in describing the situation and what was needed. He was able to complete the work the same day so no delay was necessary in getting a new water heater and pressure system installed. On top of it all he was nice enough to answer all my questions.
Have been a customer and member for awhile now and have not had any issues in the past but as of lately this answering service being able to provide nothing in the event of an escalation path means that I will be taking any future business elsewhere, support basically doesn’t exist unless you have a tech in your house. Your guys left some damage and said I should be expecting a call ASAP and it’s been 2 days so I call and can’t get ahold of anyone to talk. Managers not following up on your “tasks” being assigned. The previous time I was calling about the possibility of another service you want to charge me 2-4 times the amount of anyone else and try to gaslight me into acting as if it’s the cheapest you can do as if no one can match or beat that and take a week of me calling to even get that answer it’s like pulling teeth from you. Everything is always 24-48 hours and absolute silence until I call again.
Scheduled them for a pre purchase HVAC inspection. They showed up on time which was great. But never communicated back with me. Flooded me with what appear to be grossly inflated estimates for work (nearly $10k). I could buy an entire new unit for that price. No explanations of what they observed or why they are recommending the specific repairs.

Had shower back up and smart toilet pouring out water at base .. of course at 4:30 pm.. called and they were here within 45 minutes.. figured out we had a blocked sewer line , scooped snd ran a clean out ..very reasonable and very pleasant snd professional.. absolutely love this company.. give them a call !!
Excellent service. Get there AC / Heating monthly plan to check your planning and heating and cooling twice a year worth it. The price says are a little high, but I guess it's better to fix something before it breaks down.

I scheduled an appointment to have my tub snaked and the guy showed up 2 hours late and claimed that I needed a $2,500 hydro jet before he even attempted to snake it and then he proceeded to snake my main line outside against my request and then claimed it didn't workwork and I needed hydrojet I simply declined and called another plumber to simply snake my tub and fix the issue with no problem beware of this company they will attempt to rip you off

I run an Airbnb with 5 rooms in my home, and my tankless water heater suddenly went out. In my case, this was an emergency, especially with the weather getting colder. Goettl ensured that a technician arrived within a few hours, and Juan Gil showed up in good spirits and ready to solve the puzzle.
Like most people, I typically search for the cheapest service I can find, and I end up having other plumbers come out to check out issues with my tankless water heater, who run their mouths, upsell parts (that don't seem to be causing the problem), and generally don't really know enough about tankless water heaters. This time, I decided to go with an experienced company with a good reputation, and I am glad that I did - Goettl's prices are very reasonable and worth the service they provide.
Juan, was very knowledgeable, patient, and persistent. Even better, he was careful and humble enough to acknowledge that he didn't know everything and checked with the manufacturer at every step. Juan spent a great deal of time helping me diagnose the problem (which always seems impossible to ascertain quickly with machines like tankless water heaters), and went above and beyond to ensure that my guests and I had hot water tonight.
Juan never got frustrated; he handled everything carefully and made sure to clean up after himself when he was done. If I can have Juan take care of all of my plumbing or AC issues in the future, I will. And if you're reading reviews to decide whether to call Goettl for your issue, I would encourage you to trust their service and experience. My experience with Juan was definitely memorable.

Danielle M and Josh M did a fantastic job cleaning my shower drain. They were personable, efficient, clean, and did a great job. They used the camera to look down the drain, they cleaned it and even did the jet cleaning service of the pipes. My shower drain runs super fast now! I will definitely use them again.
Gilbert was awesome. He was timely, professional, engaging and knowledgeable. He made sure my new unit was operating properly and suggested some additional work to help the unit work efficiently. No hard upsale at all. Just recommendations. He has excellent customer service skills. I feel that the technicians take the time to review everything and want the best for me and provide that High level of care and expertise .

Mike from Goettl plumbing repaired a water line that had burst under the house. He came out right away and did a great job. I believe damage from the pipe break was kept to a minimum. He was very polite and professional, and explained what needed to be done. I'm very pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend.

The tech Robert was excellent. He checked every valve, every drain, checked my water softener and did some maintenance on my tank less water heater. All through this he was explaining all that he did. Great job Robert.

It all started with a flashlight.
Our CEO, Ken Goodrich, was a 10-year-old boy holding a flashlight for his dad as he worked on an air conditioner for a customer. His father was an independent technician in Las Vegas who admired the longevity and quality of Goettl products. In 2013, Goodrich purchased Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing and has since expanded the company across Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Southern California.
