Another company messed up our AC and refused to come fix it. We made a call very late in the day to Goettl and they sent a technician out after hours to restore our air-conditioning unit. Our technician, Craig, went above and beyond to identify the issue, clearly explain the situation to us using pictures, and resolve the issue. I'm extremely impressed by this company's professionalism and dedication to their customers.

Former SoCal Airflow customer here - Eddie did the first maintenance service since the acquisition and found a couple of issues with our new system installed less than 2 years ago.1. There was no damper system installed so that we can adjust the airflow to each room. This was a big selling point at the time of the sale but appears it was never installed.2. One of the main ducts was not properly sealed at the time of installation, it's leaking and could become disconnected.I appreciate Eddie's honesty in bringing these issues to my attention and would look for Goettl to assist with correcting these issues.Update: The good people at Goettl quickly got in touch and sent a tech to address these issues. Thank you!
A young tech came out last week after our expensive system failed which they installed and said we may have a leak, filled the system and left. Last night the system crashed, we experienced 88 degrees all night. I am a 90 percent disabled Viet Nam Vet with multiple medical problems. Befpre the merge, the company was owned by another veteran and that is why I went with the company. I talked to the 24 hour operator, who was extreemly nice and helpful, who is going to try to resolve this issue tomorrow. I will follow-up with the results.So Jeff came out yesterday earlier than the appointment time and went over my system checking everything and found no leak but said it is possble it is leaking somewhere they can't see. They have a procedure to find it if necessary and Jeff explained it in detail. So far everything is working finebut the filter needs to be changed and that is on me. The officie has called several times to make sure everything went well and I feel more confident with the merger and follow-up. Due to my medical issues and PTSD I have a limited level of tolerance when I think a company or someone I hired does a poor job but the follow-up was great, the staff professional, and said just let them know if the problem returns. I am giving then a four for their quick response and lengthly assessment of my system and am now sitting in a cool and comfortable home.

Our AC was working fine until last night, it started blowing warm air. I was able to schedule same-day service luckily, and Eddie stopped by to save the day. Jeff did an awesome job fixing my HVAC system. His attention to detail and customer care was above and beyond. He patiently explained every aspect of what he was doing to fix my HVAC system. He diagnosed a very difficult problem with the HVAC that no other HVAC Technician in Orange County that I called could do in previous months. He worked closely with the Manufacturer Warranty Department and managed the entire process of finding the correct part and ensured the work was done professionally. I never had to ask him what was going to happen next, because he was always explaining the process to me beforehand. His work and professionalism is priceless due to the confidence and commitment he had towards my HVAC system. He wanted to ensure it ran correctly and that my Family and I were happy with the job. Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing has AWEsome service, great communication and really good people to work with, both on the phone and in person. They assigned Eddie V. to come out and perform a pre-summer evaluation, just to make sure everything was working well. He’s the nicest guy you’d ever want to meet and he became our Golden Retriever’s new BFF. Eddie knows his business and was very patient with us as we asked questions and the dog wanted him to play frisbee! Also, first time I have got pushed on a upsell on things. I would prefer just the service and less on the upsell.

Update: Thanks to the help of Jaime and Ulysses, my heater has been fixed. Now my home can be heated during winterGoettl installed my new AC/HVAC unit. The heater does not work.The temperature never go more than 68F with heater turned on in 8 hours. We are simply requesting the heater to reach the reasonable heating temperature or install a not defective unit. (We have warranty for 10 years)Technician came 3 times, all very irresponsible and did not fix the problem. They just don’t want to fix it, and want to leave. (1st time they told us need to change air filter. 2nd time they found out the gas valve was not turned on… 3rd time they told us 63F is a “resonalble” good heating tempreture result, and told us not to even looking at the temperature.) Every time we try to make an appointment, they either not showing up or change our schedule last minute.@goettl, please contact me to have my HVAC fixed/changed. Thank you.

We’re thrilled with the quality and care of the Goettl team. We bought our furnace/ac unit on New Years Eve day. Our heater went out that day and since it was winter and our heater they showed up on that day, which was the day we called and did the install ASAP! Then our construction was delayed - I mean for a long time! Goettl was patient and when we called to say, ok it’s time for the condenser, they were on it and moved quickly like we asked. Sometimes you get calls from different people but that’s ok, they were all great. I had an older model air conditioner/heater unit, the Goettl team had to come out several.times to try and repair it. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be repaired efficiently and we had to put in a new unit. Customer Service was excellent and was upfront and honest through the whole process and offered great financing. Now I have a beautiful new unit that is quiet and efficent and will probably save me money in the long run. I will recommend your company
I called them this morning around 9 o’clock. They said I had 11 o’clock -2pm appointment. The gentleman would call me before he arrives. Gentleman arrived around 12 o’clock. They did an excellent job knew what he was doing. What a great way to do business
The installation of the Air Condition and Heating unit was done so professionally by both Seth and Andrew I am totally impressed. Every step of the way they explain to me what they are doing. There was some confusion about the of starting of the work. But they finish the job way ahead of the time I wanted to get them complete the work.

Goettl came out on 7-12-23 to do a repair. Jake, who was great, was our technician and after talking with him, we ended up replacing the whole system and they were able to do it on 7-13-23. It is amazing the difference.Our installers, Kelly and Mark were the absolute best!! Very professional and knew what they were doing and did it right!!Highly recommend Goettl and if you can request people, go for Jake, the technician and/or Kelly and Mark as the installers.

Eddie the tech explained and diagrammed fully the way the A/C works, then took photos of our unit with potential problems revealed. He was not interested in hard selling us a new unit, just making us aware of aging in the unit we have. At the end he had an administrator on the phone with us so we could discuss Eddie’s findings and future potential fixes if things progress, as well as being a sounding board for any questions we had.Eddie himself was attentive to this being our home, taking shoe covers on and off each time he had to go outside, and asking, not assuming he could access new areas, especially since husband and son were working at home during the appt.The whole process was very informative and reassuring that we will not be pressured into buying a system when we don’t need it. Both my air-conditioning unit and furnace are over 30 years old and needed replacement. The entire process from start to finish was very easy, quick, and everyone I dealt with from sales to installers was absolutely wonderful and professional!. The entire installation process took between 6 to 8 hours start to finish. The crew started at almost 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon and came back Friday morning for about three hours to finish up. The installers were courteous, professional and took the time to answer all my questions and explained the system to me in detail. Our Austin location opened in February of 2021 and quickly built a strong reputation with residents. Formerly Dayton Services, we have been part of the community since 1994. With strong local experience and community ties, customers have peace of mind that their HVAC and Plumbing needs will not only be met but their homes and furry family members will be treated with care.
Our team’s level of engagement is very strong: We are family-oriented and respectful, with deep roots in the Austin community and a deep-burning desire to be part of something great. Our team has enjoyed many outstanding achievements, such as the distinguished 2023 Platinum Dealer status via Standard Supply and the state plumbing licenses of our very own Derrek Gooch. We’re located on the southeast side of Austin and have 26 fully stocked vans to ensure we can solve your problems in a single visit.
Our branch leaders include Nolan Curtis (GM), Evan Pritchett, Chris Rios, Derrek Gooch, Matt Sloan, and Jarod Wallquist. We have a team of 34 dedicated employees (20 in-house HVAC pros and 14 in-house plumbers) are all fully cross-trained and certified to take on anything you can throw our way.
We proudly serve the greater Austin area with our residential HVAC and Plumbing services. We also strongly believe in giving back and serving our local community through initiatives like “Kindness is in the Air” and sponsoring iconic local institutions such as the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ’em Horns!).
