He repaired my broken a/c unit so that I'd be comfortable until the new one arrived and walked me through all my questions with no A\C technical babble. He even helped me move stuff around the side yard so that when the installers arrive, they'd have a clear wide path available and saved me the fee to lift the new unit over the back fence.
