By partnering with local businesses and organizations, United for the People works to identify and fill the gaps that impact quality of life for those who have served.
Through our Kindness in the Air program, Goettl Austin helps further this mission by supporting initiatives that strengthen community ties and ensure veterans receive the care and opportunities they deserve. Together, we’re creating lasting change for those who have given so much to our country and our community.
Supporting Children and Community
Goettl Austin is dedicated to helping children and families in our community thrive. Through our support of Austin Partners in Education, we’re helping create opportunities for students to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. The organization connects mentors, tutors, and local businesses with schools to provide the encouragement and resources students need to succeed.
Our Austin team also partnered with CBS Austin to host a Back-to-School Bash, bringing families together to celebrate learning and ensure students had the supplies and support they needed to begin the school year with confidence. These efforts reflect our commitment to caring for our community and investing in the next generation.
Furry Friends
This year, the team is sponsoring the Mighty Texas Dog Walk, a cherished Austin event that celebrates the bond between people and their pets while raising awareness and support for shelter dogs and veterans.
One hundred percent of event proceeds benefit Service Dogs, Inc., which transforms shelter dogs into service dogs for wounded veterans and other disabled Texans, free of charge. Through this partnership, Goettl Austin honors those who have served our country and the loyal animals that bring healing and independence to their lives.
The event captures the spirit of Austin: kind, energetic, and community-driven, and reflects Goettl’s ongoing commitment to doing things the right way for people, pets, and the place we call home.
A Message from Our General Manager
Derek Gooch oversees HVAC installations for the Goettl Austin branch, bringing a solid background in the trade and a steady approach to leading his team. He understands the demands of installation work and focuses on giving technicians the support and direction they need to perform at a high level. Derek emphasizes quality, accuracy, and teamwork, helping the Austin install department deliver dependable results that homeowners can trust.
