How Old Is Your System?
You should not decide to give up on your air conditioning system simply because it is getting on in years. Modern air conditioners are built to last longer than ever before. However, you must understand that there are limits to system longevity. If your air conditioner is rapidly approaching the end of its expected lifespan, or if it is already past that point, then you should at least be considering its eventual replacement. Better to replace a system while it is still operational than to be stuck without an AC until a broken down unit is replaced.
Is It Efficient?
Perhaps, when you bought your air conditioner, you were in no financial position to spring for the level of efficiency that you’d have liked. Maybe you just bought your AC long enough ago that efficiency expectations were lower than they are today. Regardless of the exact nature of the situation, you should not suffer sticker shock every time an energy bill rolls in. We use our ACs enough to justify replacing a system if its efficiency levels are just not satisfactory.
Are You Satisfied with It?
Another reason to consider replacing an air conditioner, and quite a valid one, is if you simply don’t care for your system. You may have just inherited it with your home, after all. If you think that you’d much prefer a different type of cooling system, just let Goettl Good Guys Air Conditioning know. We’ll help you to find the system that best suits your cooling needs and personal preferences.
