GOETTL AIR CONDITIONING FINDS AND REPLACES ARIZONA’S OLDEST AC UNIT DURING THE SECOND ANNUAL “WANTED! PHOENIX’S OLDEST AIR CONDITIONER” CONTEST

TEMPE, Ariz. – July 25, 2011– Goettl Air Conditioning, Arizona’s oldest and most reliable air conditioning and heating service company, has found the winner of their second annual oldest air conditioning unit contest. Hundreds of residents from all over the Valley submitted the age of their units to the contest, in which any Valley home-owner could participate to be in the running for the free unit. Neil and Monique of Phoenix had the oldest unit, topping all other entries, at 58 years old.

Their unit was the original installed in their home when it was built in 1953. The unit was replaced by Goettl with a top of the line, energy efficient system to help keep Neil and Monique’s house cooler, and to save them money on their electric bill.

“This (old unit) was obviously something that had served a very useful life, so we were proud of it, but frankly, it was kind of hot in the house before we got this new air conditioner from Goettl. It’s so much better to come home and be comfortable than be hot, and we certainly sleep a lot better at night in the summer now that we have a new unit,” stated contest winner Neil.
