- Perform carbon monoxide leak test of heat exchanger/combustion chamber and flue
- Inspect the individual burners inside your gas furnace as well as the flame sensor, igniter, blower motor, and wheel assembly
- Inspect heat exchanger for sooting, cracks and deformities
- Inspect the furnace filter, and the furnace venting
- Service wiring assembly and tighten loose connections
- Removal of debris or detritus from the surface and interior of the furnace
- Check and adjust thermostat and check temperature rise across heat exchanger for overheating and adjust if necessary
