Goettl provided excellent service for us in every aspect.  Francisco was the first technician that came to visit our home and sold us a new GK program when it was time to have ours renewed.  After receiving a buyback letter in the mail, Scott Cook was sent out to us and went over every detail involving us getting a new unit as well as the different options we had to choose from.  We were thinking about getting a new unit when we came home to find out our unit was leaking.  We then called Goettl again to set up a standard evaluation.  Austin and Brian were sent out to perform the evaluation.  Brian was very eager to learn and extremely polite.  Austin then sat down with us and explained that our best bet would be to get a new unit.  Austin spent a lot of time on the phone getting the sale to go through which we found very impressive.  Both Austin and Brian were very kind and professional.  The last two techni-cians that came to our home were Bill and Byron. They came out to install the new unit and were both very knowledgeable on everything they were doing and completed their work in a timely manner.

We recently became the proud owners of a new Goettl Air Conditioner/Heat Pump.  We were so impressed with the employees who helped this transaction take place.  They were pleasant and helpful, and certainly knew the product they were installing.

Additional work was required due to the increased amount of air “rushing” through the duct work. William carefully examined the problem, explained the cause, designed the necessary plan, requested the necessary materials, and then in a most efficient manner, solved the problem to our satisfaction. He worked carefully and patiently in the heat and dust, made sure we were happy with the result, cleaned up the mess, repeated directions (again) for the thermostat and remained calm and “nice to have in our home” the entire time. You can be very proud of the way these people represent your company, especially William.

I am a Goettl customer. Have been for 30 years.

During the past week my current 3 year old Goettl was not performing up to spec's. Because of this I had the occasion to interact with Dam Brumlow on several separate dates. Let me preface my comments by saying I am not generally one to write letters or make phone calls expressing either my dissatisfaction with or approval of how I was dealt with by those individuals representing the businesses providing me with necessary professional services.

In this case however, I feel I simply cannot refrain from comment. Dan Brumlows' conduct was exemplary in every way. The basic things, such as appearance, mannerisms, professional conduct and an 'in command, reassuring presence' all come easily to him. Such skills are at the heart of what constitutes good customer relations. It is not easy to project cool, calm and collected in 110 degree heat. All the more difficult when your customer has been living, perhaps for a day or more in such heat and the 'real patient' is a big metal box that cannot tell you where it hurts.

In Dan Brumlow you have in my opinion, an outstanding asset capable of doing many things to promote the interests of, and enhance profitability at your company. His bottom line potential if utilized correctly is considerable. If it was my decision to make, here is how I would use such an asset.

Not everyone no matter what their level of experience or time on the job is capable of taking what they encounter in the field, internalizing it, condensing it down to a few sentences that can be taught quickly to others to help them become more adept at dealing with the wide variety of exigent circumstances arising moment to moment in the field. Therefore I would make sure a large portion of his time is spent training other technicians hands on by example. Also in classroom settings or seminars. Mr. Brumlow is valuable both for his technical skill and knowledge as well as for his customer relations instincts. A real breath of fresh air in an increasingly stale industry.

Clearly Dan possesses both custodial and creative talent. He can teach what is sound official company methodology developed over time by others, what I call custodial talent, and this is important, but he can also act in an original proactive fashion, what I call creative talent, responding to the ever changing fluid conditions of operating in the field, developing or modifying methods and policy and effectively teaching those things to field reps or managers to the betterment of company productivity and bottom line profitability.

I retired years ago from a career in corporate America, I needed more family time, but if I still had similar responsibilities today for directing national marketing and sales and allocating management personnel and resources, Dan Brumlow is the type of person I would have brought in, and moved up quickly. He is a keeper. I would take pains to keep him off any competitors payroll, and secure on my payroll. His compensation package should be increased accordingly and regularly.

It is difficult to find the proper words to express our appreciation to you and your staff for the services we received from your firm. Your sales representative David Erhart is a thoroughly knowledgeable, qualified advisor in his presentation as to which units would best serve our needs. He was pleasant to deal with and untiring in finding ways for our financing the purchase. Your installation crews Jimmy and Raymond, Jorge and Carlos, and another whose name I did not get, were efficient and diligent in giving us quick service. And your throwing in the hot water heater and filters, gives us pause as to how to describe our appreciation. Special thanks go to the installer of the hot water heater who working in brutally hot circumstances to install the heater in an area nearly too small for it. Our whole experience was pleasant and rewarding but special thanks go to David who wouldn’t give up on us.
